It’s confirmed that Kiersey Clemons’ Iris West will appear in the upcoming Zack Snyder-directed Justice League movie.
Following the news that Dope director Rick Famuyiwa departed the Ezra Miller The Flash movie over creative differences, some fans online wondered if that also meant Kiersey Clemons, who starred in Dope and who was brought on board The Flash by Famujiwa, would be departing The Flash as well.
It’s learned that is not the case as a reporter for Variety tweeted Kiersey Clemons filmed a cameo for Justice League and that “she’s not going anywhere,” meaning she is keeping her Irist West The Flash role.
While the news of Rick Famuyiwa leaving The Flash is a bummer, at least we see they are building up to The Flash movie with inclusion of characters in Justice League.
No new director has been announced on The Flash as-of-yet, and it’s also been said The Flash production and release date will probably be delayed. The Flash was originally set for a March 2018 release.
The Justice League movie is due out November 17, 2017.
