It’s claimed Dakota Johnson is being eyed for a role in Star Wars.
The rumor comes via Daniel RPK, but nothing else is really known, including what role or Star Wars project.
Daniel RPK can be hit or miss, so keep that in mind.

Is the rumor true?
It could very well be possible that the rumor comes from Dakota Johnson’s camp or various producers to test the waters, similar to how rumors have been flying about various actors up for Marvel and X-Men roles (when they’re really not).
So, for example, what happens is that the actor’s manager will throw the name out there to various “scoopers” who then release the info, which is picked up by social media and various sites. They’ll then use the online fan reaction to hopefully sell the actor to the studio. Ditto if producers have an actor in mind and want to see what the fans think.
Of course, at the same time, it could very well be possible that said actor is up for the role. Dakota Johnson, though, I have a hard time believing she’s up for Star Wars, but stranger things have happened.

Done with big movies
She also said she doesn’t want to to big movies “made by committee” anymore following Madame Web flopping. That would rule out Star Wars.
She has come out publicly many times and basically said Madame Web wasn’t her fault, that the movie changed following having signed on, compared to when filming began. I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt. But Star Wars? Hey, maybe she’ll prove me wrong.

What Star Wars project could Dakota Johnson star in?
Potential projects she could be up for include the Shawn Levy and Ryan Gosling Star Wars: Starfighter movie. Mia Goth is also said to be playing the villain. Maybe Johnson can play Gosling’s love interest or something (I don’t know).
Other than that, nothing new for Star Wars is really in the works. I can’t see Johnson having a TV role in Ahsoka Season 2. Favreau already filmed The Mandalorian & Grogu.
There is that Daisy Ridley New Jedi Order movie, but let’s be honest, that doesn’t seem to be happening. It will get canceled when Kennedy leaves in 2026, along with Bob Iger, is my guess.
