A new trailer and poster for Batman Azteca: Choque De Imperios (Aztec Batman: Clash of Empires) have dropped just days ahead of San Diego Comic-Con, where Warner Bros. Animation is set to spotlight the upcoming DC animated feature.

Comic-Con Panel Set for Saturday
Batman Azteca will be featured in a Warner Bros. Animation panel on Saturday from 3:30–4:30 PM in Room 6BCF. The panel promises new footage and behind-the-scenes insight from cast and creators.
The film reimagines Batman through the lens of Mesoamerican history and mythology, delivering a fresh, culturally grounded take on the iconic DC hero.

Story and Cast Details
Set during the Aztec Empire, the film follows Yohualli Coatl, a young boy who becomes a Batman-like warrior after Spanish Conquistadors murder his father, Toltecatzin, a village leader. Fleeing to Tenochtitlan, Yohualli warns King Moctezuma of the invaders, trains in the temple of the bat god Tzinacan, and sets out to defend the empire and avenge his family.
