Filming on Spider-Man: Brand New Day is ramping up, and now we’ve got our first official look at Tom Holland in the new suit — along with set photos and video revealing Jon Bernthal back in action as the Punisher.
Bernthal Is Locked and Loaded
Images and footage from the Glasgow set confirm Jon Bernthal is fully suited up as Frank Castle. He’s filming an action-packed scene involving an armored vehicle (see below). Local outlets describe a tank stunt performed on city streets dressed as New York, with NYPD cars, hot dog stands, and American signage filling the scene.
The tank appears to be central to the scene teased earlier by insider Daniel Richtman, where Spider-Man and Punisher reportedly clash over a DODC transport. With the Punisher’s involvement now confirmed on set, fans are speculating this could be the film’s first major action sequence.
We also get a look at the Punisher’s new arsenal. Check it out:

Sony Drops First Official Look at Spidey’s New Suit
Sony has released a teaser of Tom Holland in the new Spider-Man suit, and it’s a noticeable departure from his previous MCU designs. The costume keeps the classic red-and-blue color scheme but features sharper angles, raised webbing, and a more armored texture, possibly reflecting Peter’s solo evolution post-No Way Home (fans are comparing it to Andrew Garfield’s Amazing Spider-Man 2 suit).
Also there appears to be no Stark tech, no glowy eyes — just a grounded, gritty look that fits the street-level tone teased by Marvel.

Street-Level Chaos in Glasgow
With New York banners and American police vehicles taking over Glasgow, the Scottish city continues doubling for NYC.
The latest on-location shoot adds to the grounded feel Marvel has been pushing. The tank convoy and heavy law enforcement presence suggest the Punisher-Spidey standoff will be a high-stakes encounter early in the film.
