It’s official! Superman has landed in Fortnite. Following the leaks, Epic Games and DC have now confirmed the collaboration as part of Fortnite Chapter 6, Season 3, titled “Super.”
James Gunn himself dropped the trailer, tying it directly to his upcoming Superman reboot film hitting theaters July 11. The game features the likeness of new Man of Steel, David Corenswet.

Superman Joins the Supernova Academy
The new season brings a full-blown superhero theme to Fortnite Battle Royale. Players will train at Supernova Academy, a new POI on the island, where they’ll rise through Hero Ranks and unlock powerful new Hero Items. Among the highlights:
- Superman Outfit: Based on David Corenswet’s movie look, available July 11 by completing quests.
- Krypto the Superdog: Toss a Krypto Treat and watch him slam into the battlefield.
- Superman Sprite: A new map-based ally that melts enemies with laser vision.
New POIs and Villains
- Utopia City and Demon’s Domain join Supernova Academy as the central battlegrounds.
- Face off against Mask Maker Daigo and Kor, two new bosses with mythic weapons and medallions.
- Defeating Daigo grants an upgraded Spire Rifle and regenerating shield perks.
Hero Progression System
The season introduces a ranking system where players start each match at C Rank and can climb to S+ by performing heroic deeds. Each rank unlocks a Hero Cache filled with increasingly powerful weapons, items, and “Boons” like:
- Storm Caller: Heals you in the storm.
- Combat Acrobat: Reloads weapons as you parkour.
- Heightened Senses: Marks attackers on your HUD.
Battle Pass Adds Robin and More
The premium Battle Pass includes:
- Robin (Teen Titans version) – Instantly unlocked
- Killswitch, Haylee Skye, Ziggy, Synthwave, Lightrider, and Morgan Myst
- The Superman Outfit unlockable via quests starting July 11.
Twitch Drops and Switch 2 Bonus
- Watch 30–60 minutes of Fortnite streams on Twitch between June 7–15 to earn free cosmetics.
- Log into Fortnite on Nintendo Switch 2 by March 31, 2026, to get the exclusive Wishing Star Emote.
A Movie-Timed Power Play
The Fortnite x Superman crossover is clearly designed to align with DC Studios’ Superman reboot hype. It’s a smart play as Epic gets a blockbuster superhero tie-in, and Warner Bros. gets a massive marketing push for its July 11 theatrical release.
