WWE and Fandango Launch Premium Live Events in Theaters
The SummerSlam theater experience kicks off a new partnership between WWE and Fandango to screen Premium Live Events (PLEs) in theaters. Regal Cinemas is the main exhibition partner for SummerSlam, with other theater chains expected to join for future WWE events.
Fandango president Will McIntosh called WWE “one of the most electrifying global entertainment brands,” adding that SummerSlam “deserves to be experienced on the big screen.”
Ticket Options and Fan Perks
Fans can buy single-night tickets for either night of SummerSlam, or a two-night bundle. The bundle includes entry to both screenings and a limited-edition SummerSlam t-shirt available through a partnership with Fanatics.
Regal’s SVP Brooks LeBoeuf said the collaboration “elevates” the live experience, calling the theater setup an “immersive” way to make fans feel like they’re ringside.

Cena vs. Rhodes Headlines the Card
The two-night SummerSlam event is headlined by the WrestleMania 41 rematch between John Cena and Cody Rhodes for the Undisputed WWE Championship.
SummerSlam 2025 will also stream live at 6 p.m. ET / 3 p.m. PT on Peacock in the U.S. and on Netflix internationally.
