With less than a week to go, Marvel has dropped the full X-Men ’97 Season 2 lineup — every episode title and release date — and it lays out exactly how the Apocalypse arc rolls out.
The season opens with a three-episode premiere on July 1, then shifts to one new episode a week, wrapping with the finale on August 12.
Here’s the complete schedule, plus what the titles hint at.

What the Episode Titles Tell Us
The titles aren’t just clever, several confirm exactly where the season is headed.
“Days of Past Future” flips the famous “Days of Future Past” to signal the time-scattered premise the Season 1 finale set up, with the team strewn across multiple eras.
The big one is the back-to-back “Rise of Apocalypse – Part I” and “Part II” in episodes 3 and 4, which front-loads the Apocalypse arc right into premiere week and lines up with the Age of Apocalypse direction the trailers have been teasing.
“Weapon X, Lies, and DVDs” (a riff on Sex, Lies, and Videotape) points squarely at Wolverine and his Weapon X origins, fitting, given Weapon X’s central role in any Age of Apocalypse story.
Then there’s episode 8, “The Dead Man’s Hand.” A dead man’s hand is the poker pairing of aces and eights and with Gambit killed in the Season 1 finale and Apocalypse last seen clutching his torn playing card, the card-themed title all but telegraphs a Gambit payoff.
The finale, “Survival of the Fittest,” takes its name straight from Apocalypse’s own creed.
