Third DLC Pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Delivers Four New Multiplayer Maps Taking Players Across the Globe

Bruce Campbell Joins Next Chapter of the Fan-Favourite Exo Zombies Saga, with All-Star Hollywood Cast of John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal

Prepare for a globetrotting Call of Duty DLC experience like no other, against the backdrops of several of the greatest monuments around the world in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy. On 2nd June, the third DLC pack for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare from Activision Publishing, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Activision Blizzard and Sledgehammer Games, will be available first on the Xbox Live online entertainment network for Xbox One and Xbox 360 games and entertainment system from Microsoft, with other platforms to follow.

From the famed Houses of Parliament in London, to the snowy confines of the Kremlin in Moscow, players will experience a perse landscape of multiplayer mayhem, including the return of one of the most iconic multiplayer maps in Call of Duty history, “Highrise,” which first debuted in 2009’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, now transported to the year 2054.

“Set against iconic landmarks, Supremacy takes players across the world in some of our most exciting maps to date. New and exciting vertical routes give players unique ways to dominate the battle through both the exo movement set and the new Exo Grapple ability. We are also thrilled to reimagine one of the most popular Call of Duty maps ever, Modern Warfare 2’s Highrise, with exo and grapple gameplay for fans to enjoy,” said Michael Condrey, Co-Founder and Studio Head, Sledgehammer Games.

“This is not only the four new multiplayer maps, but the continuation of the popular Exo Zombies saga. We’re huge fans of Bruce Campbell and to be able to add him to the already great roster of performers in Exo Zombies takes this to a new level,” said Glen Schofield, Co-Founder and Studio head, Sledgehammer Games.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy includes four new, action-packed multiplayer maps, all featuring the new Exo Grapple mechanic, which adds a layer of fun and strategy to the experience.

· Parliament : Docked on the River Thames, this military cargo ship delivers a view of the London cityscape along with a fast-paced combat experience. Mixed site-lines provide opportunities for all styles of play to dominate this medium-sized map. Players can take control of the map-based scorestreak to unleash a barrage of missiles that annihilate enemies.

· Kremlin : Gamers must prepare for intense combat outside Russia’s presidential palace in the new map Kremlin, as they navigate the worn-torn buildings of Red Square in this medium-sized, three-lane map. Secure elevated positions to give the team a strategic advantage, or use exoskeleton capabilities to avoid being caught in the minefield that activates mid-match.

· Compound : Players take combat preparation to the limit in an Atlas training facility hidden away in the Colorado wilderness, as they’ll have to be quick on the trigger in this small, symmetrical map, which funnels high-speed combat through tight corners to the main tower structures.

· Skyrise: Players deploy to an Atlas Skyscraper overlooking the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. Based on the fan-favourite, Highrise, from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 by Infinity Ward , this map brings new exoskeleton mechanics to the classic multiplayer layout. Gamers must dominate the power positions in the centre of this small-to-medium sized map to control the key navigation points.

The popular Exo Zombies saga continues in the all-new episode, Carrier. Following the end of the last episode, Infected, Bruce Campbell (Army of Darkness, Burn Notice) steps in and joins the battle-hardened cast of John Malkovich (In the Line of Fire, RED, Burn After Reading), Bill Paxton (Aliens, Titanic, Edge of Tomorrow), Rose McGowan (Planet Terror, Scream) and Jon Bernthal (Fury, The Wolf of Wall Street). In Carrier, the four are trapped on an Atlas aircraft carrier. Carrier features advanced new weaponry, enemy Atlas Strike teams, Sentinel support squads and a host of new zombie enemies.

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Supremacy will be available first on Xbox Live on 2nd June. The Supremacy DLC Pack is also included in Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s DLC Season Pass, featuring all four DLC Packs planned for the year, as part of the discounted bundle.

Scott Derrickson Teases Mistress Death & Origin For Doctor Strange

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:20755:]]

Doctor Strange director Scott Derrickson has posted a rather interesting tweet, which teases Death (or Mistress Death) from the Marvel Comics.

Derrickson tweeted out an image of the cover from Doctor Strange #2, which features Death.

In what could be a possible spoiler for the movie, we’ll just say the issue sees Doctor Strange confront Death in what is part of his origin story.

Interestingly enough, Thanos just happens to worship Death as well.

We see the cover reads “Dr. Strange Meets… Death!” with Derrickson adding: “As will we all..”

Death, in Marvel Comics lore, is one of the cosmic abstracts and the personification of Death who came into existence at the creation of the universe along with the other cosmic abstracts: Eternity, Infinity and Oblivion. All four more or less balance each other out.

Doctor Strange has a November 4, 2016 release starring Benedict Cumberbatch as Dr. Stephen Strange.

The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen Getting Rebooted

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:20749:]]

It’s learned Fox is rebooting The League Of Extraordinary Gentleman, which is based on the Alan Moore comic book and saw a movie starring Sean Connery back in 2003.

Variety reboots The League Of Extraordinary Gentleman movie reboot will see John Davis (The Blacklist, Chronicle, I, Robot) on board to produce through his Davis Entertainment banner.

Ira Napoliello (Mr. Popper’s Penguins) and Matt Reilly are stated to be overseeing the remake, which centers on Victorian-era literary characters such as Captain Nemo, the Invisible Man, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde who team up to fight a common enemy.

At one time a League Of Extraordinary Gentleman TV series was in development from Green Lantern writer Michael Green, but the show never made it to series.

The 2003 film starred Sean Connery as Allan Quatermain; however, it failed to make its mark with audiences as it only netted barely $180 million worldwide.

In this amazingly imaginative tale, Allan Quatermain, Mina Murray, Captain Nemo, Dr. Henry Jekyll and Edward Hyde, and Hawley Griffin, the Invisible Man unite to defeat a deadly menace to London and all Britons!

Then, one month later, the skies over England are filled with flaming rockets as Mars launches the first salvo of an invasion. Only our stalwart adventurers can save mother England and the Earth itself.

Avengers Thanos Actor Spotted On Captain America: Civil War Set

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:20747:]]

To date, at least in my opinion, Thanos’ appearance in The Avengers post-credit tease has yet to be topped.

Damion Poitier portrayed the Mad Titan for The Avengers, and with a simple smile revealed more about Thanos than James Gunn did in Guardians of the Galaxy and Whedon did with The Avengers 2 (CGI with Brolin voice).

Now the actor that portrayed Thanos in The Avengers movie, Damion Poitier, has been spotted on the set of Captain America: Civil War in an unknown role (note: Poitier isn’t playing Thanos anymore).

Poitier is also known for doing stunt work – he was a stuntman on Thor 2 – so he could be back doing stunts for Captain America: Civil War as well.

Poitier did previously state he was in talks for a legit Marvel role, so this could be it.

Channing Tatum Gambit Movie Will Be Origin Story

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:20739:]]

Channing Tatum offers an update regarding the upcoming Gambit movie, which has a planned 2016 release.

Tatum is featured in the latest issue of Empire Magazine where the actor confirms the Gambit movie will be an origin movie, but exactly in what vein remains to be seen.

I love Gambit. I grew up in the South; my father’s from Louisiana. We’d go to New Orleans and I heard all the dialects. It felt so different from the rest of America; it has its own ancient culture. So I identified with that. And he always felt the most real of the X-Men to me. He’s kind of a tortured soul and he’s not a good guy. But he’s not a bad guy, either. He walks his own path. And of course he plays cards and drinks and is a martial-arts badass!

Josh Zetumer just turned in the first draft of the script, and it’s killer. None of us were sure how he was going to deal with the X-Men world. But we’re going to be changing some of the tropes of these movies. It’s always about saving the world , but maybe we’re going to shift things a liittle but. There’s so many ways you can take [an origin story]. You could do it like Batman Begins, or a different take and go the Guardians of the Galaxy route. All I can say is, I’m super excited.

It’s still up in the air whether Gambit will be featured in X-Men: Apocalypse as Tatum previously let it be known he wasn’t sure about introducing the character in the film. It’s possible, assuming our guess is correct, that with X-Men: Apocalypse rebooting the X-Men universe, that Gambit may just be featured in some sort of cameo role.

Gambit has an Ocotober 7, 2016 release.

Legend Of Conan To Be Sequel To Conan The Barbarian With Original Cast

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:20738:]]

New details have become known about the Legend Of Conan, which will see Arnold Schwarzenegger return as King Conan.

TheArnoldFans caught up with Chris Morgan, the film’s producer/co-writer, and producer Fredrik Malmberg, who offered the following updates.

Legend of Conan will not be a reboot, but will be a sequel to Conan The Barbarian featuring Arnold as Conan 30 years later “revisit[ing] the barbaric world of John Milius.”

Conan is described as “aged, pissed and battle ready.”

Chris Morgan offered:

A light-hearted Conan?! CROM! No. Our tone is a logical extension of the character established in the ’82 film…but 30 years later. When we meet him again, Conan has been many things over the course of his life — a thief, a warrior, a pirate, a king, a legend — and is now an older man. Think Unforgiven…with a sword-wielding barbarian.

I can’t give specifics (nobody likes a spoiler!), but know we are honoring the locales, the religions and the traditions of the ’82 film.

Morgan goes on to confirm returning characters from the original movie.

Without naming names…it’s at least three. And you’re gonna love them! 😉

It also sounds as if Legend of Conan could possibly be R-rated, like the original, as Fredrik Malmberg offers:

Our marching orders from the studio were to create a film worthy as a successor to the 1982 film, which was pretty brutal. To Conan it’s not about fancy sword moves; it’s about the fastest and most effective way of disposing of your enemy. A dance of death, maybe, at least primal.

Arnold also said he is excited to do the film, with Legend Of Conan starting filming possibly as early as this Fall.

Hulk Hogan Possible Villain For The Expendables 4

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:20736:]]Hulk Hogan and Sylvester Stallone
(WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, April 2005)

Hulk Hogan is in talks for the villain role in The Exependables 4.

Hogan, who first informed the Hulkamaniacs of his planned invovement in the fourth film of the Expendables franchise over a year ago, recently participated in a Q&A in the UK where he let the news be known (via wrestlinginc).

“Was talking on the phone with Sly [Stallone] about doing The Expendables 4. We’re trying to figure out a way to maybe turn me into the most evil man in the world. Y’know, Stallone gave me my first break and he’s been a great friend for all these years … We had a great conversation, talking about the possibilities. Can I still run, can I still jump? Well, not as fast or not as high, but I think Hollywood could find a good stunt man to help me out.”

Hogan’s first break in Hollywood was portraying Thunderlips in Rocky III.

While Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, is known for his good-guy Hulk Hogan character in wrestling, in the 90s, Hogan took a heel turn donning the popular Hollywood Hogan persona that was a part of the NWO and WCW.

Hogan also stated in the QnA he will be involved with Wrestlemania 32 in hopes of breaking the attendance record at Arlington, Texas. The old WWE record of 93,173, which took place at Wrestelmania 3 and featured Hogan vs. Andre The Giant, was broken in 2010 by the NBA All-Star Game with 108,713.

George Miller Justice League Documentary Announced

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:20734:]]

Following on the heels of the Superman Lives and Roger Corman Fantastic Four documentaries, a documentary for the defunct George Miller Justice League movie has been announced to be in development.

Warner Bros. and Miller were planning on a Justice League movie to be released in 2009, but the film was pulled due to multiple reasons.

George Miller’s Justice League, titled “Justice League Mortal,” was originally going to be shot in Australia; however, due to the writers’ strike at the time as well as reported filming-budget issues and Christopher Nolan not wanting two different versions of Batman on screen (Batman Begins was released in 2005 starring Christian Bale), it was yanked.

Australia’s IF.com reports Australian filmmakers are now making a documentary surrounding “Justice League Mortal” and plan on interviewing the cast and crew and hope to gain access to never-before-seen artwork and costumes.

The George Miller Justice League movie cast consisted of: Armie Hammer (Batman), DJ Cotrona (Superman), Megan Gale (Wonder Woman), Adam Brody (The Flash), Common (Green Lantern), Santiago Cabrera (Aquaman), Teresa Palmer (Talia Al Ghul), Zoe Kasan (Iris Allen), Hugh Keays-Byrne (Martian Manhunter) and Jay Baruchel (Maxwell Lord).

Greg Van Borssum, a stuntman on the movie, recently posted a picture of the Justice League cast last year.

Back in 1997 also saw a Justice League pilot shot for CBS, with 24 mintues released online.

Zack Snyder is directing a new Justice League movie, which kicks off a two-parter, slated for a 2017 release.

Ryan Reynolds Wants Hugh Jackman & Wolverine For Deadpool

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:20733:]]

About four months ago saw Hugh Jackman state he would be open to playing Wolverine in the Deadpool movie.

Now that filming on Deadpool is underway in Vancouver, Ryan Reynolds is asked about Jackman appearing by Australia’s News.com.

God I hope so, that would be really nice. I dunno, we’ll see. It seems like he’s open to it, but it’s gonna be more of a scheduling issue than anything else.

Hugh Jackman is schedudled to begin filming on The Greatest Showman on Earth playing PT Barnum soon in NYC.

Jackman will also be reprising as Wolverine one last time for the sequel to The Wolverine as the actor recently confirmed The Wolverine 2 will be his last X-Men movie.

As Deadpool and Reynolds first appeared in X-Men: Origins: Wolverine back in 2009, it’s hoped Jackman can appear in Deadpool as well.

“Deadpool” has a February 12, 2016 release directed by Tim Miller starring Ryan Reynolds, Morena Baccarin, Gina Carano, TJ Miller, Brianne Hildebrand and Ed Skrein.

Synopsis:

Based upon Marvel Comics’ most unconventional anti-hero, DEADPOOL tells the origin story of former Special Forces operative turned mercenary Wade Wilson, who after being subjected to a rogue experiment that leaves him with accelerated healing powers, adopts the alter ego Deadpool. Armed with his new abilities and a dark, twisted sense of humor, Deadpool hunts down the man who nearly destroyed his life.
