New Justice League theater promotional images feature Henry Cavill as Superman in addition to the rest of the League.
The images are a part of Justice League promotional items that will be available at various concessions stands.
The Justice League concession stand items include drink packaging, drink toppers, popcorn packaging, tubs, lids, shakers and key chains featuring Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, The Flash and Cyborg.
Check out the images below.
While Superman has yet to be featured in any of the Justice League footage, it does seem as if we are starting to see some sort of promotion surrounding Superman as a few days ago also saw a new Justice League Superman image.
It is possible we may get our first Superman Justice League footage this month as Warner Bros. just officially announced Justice League and Aquaman will be at Comic-Con.
I actually wouldn’t mind WB keeping Henry Cavill and Superman completely under wraps and not show us anything. I liked what WB did with Wonder Woman by not revealing anything about the villain–it made the movie all the better. James Gunn actually did this with his Guardians of the Galaxy 2 as well, which definitely made the movie pay off for fans.
Regarding the return of Superman in Justice League, there has been all kinds of rumors and speculation. The Superman Justice League rumors include Superman returning as evil; Superman with a beard, mullet and black suit; Superman brainwashed or controlled by Darkseid or Steppenwolf, etc.
It’s also thought Superman returns in the third act of Justice League, but exactly how and what happens remains to be seen. If we follow Zack Snyder’s footsteps from Man of Steel to Batman vs. Superman, which basically saw Snyder unravel everything everybody has come to know about Superman, I could definitely see a Superman in Justice League comparable to the Superman from the Injustice video games. I’ll leave you to decide if that is good or bad.
