More Man of Tomorrow set images and video have hit the net, and the latest look shows David Corenswetâs Superman taking a hit from Nicholas Houltâs Lex Luthor in the Warsuit.
The new photos appear to continue the same downtown Atlanta battle scene that has been leaking online, with Superman and Lex clashing in the street. T
This time, Lex is seen in the green Warsuit aiming what looks like a high-tech weapon, while Supermanâs suit shows a large blasted mark on the chest.
The weapon itself appears to be a placeholder prop that will likely be finished with CGI, but the Warsuit is very real. James Gunn previously confirmed Lexâs armor is practical, and fans have been posting video of Hoult walking around set in the suit.

Lex Blasts Superman With High-Tech Weapon
The latest images give fans the clearest look yet at Superman and Lex fighting in Man of Tomorrow.
Corenswet is seen in the Superman suit with a large burn or impact mark across the chest, suggesting Lex lands a serious shot during the scene. Houltâs Lex, meanwhile, is shown inside the Warsuit holding a bulky sci-fi weapon.
The gun looks unfinished on set, with blocky pieces and tracking markers that will likely be replaced or enhanced with visual effects. Still, the scene makes it clear Lex isnât just wearing the Warsuit for show. He is using it in battle against Superman.
Does This Happen Before The Brainiac Team-Up?
The big question is where this fight fits into the movie.
Man of Tomorrow is expected to see Superman and Lex eventually forced to team up against Brainiac, played by Lars Eidinger. Gunn has teased Brainiac as âwhat happens when intelligence loses ALL connection to humanity,â while Superman is âas human as anyone.â
If Superman and Lex are allies later in the story, this street fight may happen earlier in the movie before the Brainiac threat forces them onto the same side.
It also raises another question: how does Lex get out of jail?
The first Superman ended with Lex defeated and exposed. So if he is back on the street in Man of Tomorrow wearing the Warsuit, something has changed.
Does Lex break out? Does Brainiacâs arrival create chaos that allows him to escape? Or does Superman get him out because Lex is the only person who can help stop Brainiac? The recent set video also teased that Brainaic wants Lex.
