Jesse Eisenberg Confirms Lex Luthor For Justice League

Following Batman Vs. Superman, Jesse Eisenberg will be back as Lex Luthor for Justice League.

Eisenberg appeared at this weekend’s MCM London Comic-Con and confirmed the news (via Digital Spy).

“I’m kind of in wait,” he said. “They just started filming Justice League, so I’m kind of like waiting for my crack at it.

“I don’t know what I’m allowed to say, because I feel like there’s probably some drone following me from DC, and if I say anything wrong I get, you know, picked off. But yeah I think so, and I love it, and I love everybody who’s in it. You know, it’s a really talented group of people.”

Last we saw of Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor, he was a babbling idiot in jail, which saw Batman pay a visit. Audiences seemed so confused by the scene that Warner Bros. actually released a deleted scene days after Batman Vs. Superman premiered in order to help explain what was going on.

“Justice League” has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe in an unknown role.

Producer Charles Roven Gets The Boot Because of Batman Vs. Superman

Long time DC producer Charles Roven is reported to be getting diminished responsibilities as a result of the disappointing performance of Batman Vs. Superman.

Roven, who has been on the every DC film since Christopher Nolan’s 2005 Batman Begins, is said to no longer be producing certain DC movies, according to THR, with The Flash and Aquaman named (movies not yet filming).

It’s said talks are underway within WB to have Charles Roven as more of an executive producer role and one who is not involved in day-to-day production.

It is said that Roven could still be a producer on various sequels of movies he is already producing.

Charles Roven was producer on Man of Steel and Batman Vs. Superman and is currently the producer on Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Justice League.

It’s noted that one reason for the shift is due to WB wanting to increase the number of DC productions, with it said it’s physically impossible for one man to handle all the load.

It recently became known that Geoff Johns and WB exec Jon Berg are now co-running the DC films, with this report adding Berg is handling day-to-day operations on Justice League.

Regarding Zack Snyder receiving any blame, no report has specifically mentioned any ramifications for the director, which could be due to WB simply not wanting bad publicity with Justice League coming out. It is said WB is moving away from Zack Snyder’s “brain trust” of which Charles Roven was a part of (and wife Deborah, Richard Suckle and Wesley Collar).

Geoff Johns Hints At Brighter & More Fun Justice League Movie Universe

While Geoff Johns has yet to admit he’s co-running DC films, the DC Entertainment chief creative officer and comic book writer may have provided a big clue that the DCEU will be a bit brighter and more fun in tone.

Johns, who has the big DC Comics Rebirth issue coming out tomorrow, updated his Facebook profile with an image of Superman Henry Cavill smiling, laughing and having a grand ol’ time, which may hint that since Johns is taking over the DC movie universe, that it may be a bit more upbeat than Batman Vs. Superman and Man of Steel.

The most recent report has stated that following the disappointment of Batman Vs. Superman, that Geoff Johns and WB exec Jon Berg will be co-running the DC film universe and have been named as producers on board Justice League.

Essentially, Johns has become the “Kevin Feige” of DC, but it could be argued Johns has a larger role as Johns works with the movies, TV, video games and comic books, while Feige is just in charge of Marvel Studios.

It would be cool if Johns was also teasing another Superman movie as well…

Geoff Johns Confirms Working On Solo Ben Affleck Batman Movie

Geoff Johns, who was recently said to have been appointed to co-run DC films, confirms involvement in the new Ben Affleck Batman movie.

Johns also talks a bit about being the DC Entertainment chief creative officer, but it’s noted he wouldn’t confirm being the new head of DC movies.

My job is to help other Warner Brothers divisions work with DC. I work with Warner TV and producers to get these shows up and running, in particular with ‘The Flash,’ where I co-created the show, wrote a few episodes, wrote the pilot episode.”

“I work with other people, Ames Kirshen in games, the studios like Rocksteady and Netherrealm, go in there on character choices, story they’re going to do and brainstorm on that, try to keep it true to comics.

“I do get to say I’m working on ‘Batman’ with Ben Affleck. That gets the Thanksgiving table excited, especially my brother.”

No release date has yet been announced for the new Batman movie, which is said to possibly feature a Red Hood storyline or even all the Batman villains. According to previous reports, Johns co-wrote the script with Affleck, who is also supposed to direct. A few years ago we were even first told the title might be “The Batman.”

Geoff Johns In As “Kevin Feige” Of DC Movies Following Batman Vs. Superman Fallout

With Zack Snyder 0 for 2, Warner Bros. is not waiting for the third strike to end the game.

THR reports Geoff Johns and executive vice president Jon Berg will co-run DC Films in an “attempt to course-correct Warners’ comic book movies,” which is a direct result of the failed reception and performance of Zack Snyder’s Batman Vs. Superman.

Along with the recent addition of Ben Affleck as producer on Justice League, both Johns and Berg have been named as producers on the Justice League movies as well.

The report says: “With Berg and Johns, Warner Bros. is attempting to unify the disparate elements of the DC movies with a seasoned film exec and a comics veteran that together can hopefully emulate the way Marvel Studios has produced its films under the vision of president Kevin Feige.”

The report makes no mention of the further involvement of Zack Snyder other than he had the opportunity to shape the DC movie universe to 2020, but it’s noted critics and fans “ripped” into Snyder. It’s further mentioned that Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War is nearing a billion in its first two weeks, while Batman Vs. Superman didn’t come close to the number.

Jon Berg has already been involved with Batman Vs. Superman, Suicide Squad, Wonder Woman and Justice League. Berg also has a good relationship with Ben Affleck as the two have worked together on Argo and Affleck’s upcoming Live By Night. Affleck and Johns also co-wrote the Batman solo movie, with Affleck assumed to be directing.

Johns, in addition to his comics gig, is also responsible for the stellar performance of DC TV, with Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl. I’ll also say this, that more than likely the failure of the Green Lantern movie is not Johns’ fault (we know this is going to be brought up). DC TV executive producer/showrunner Greg Berlanti recently spoke about the failure of Green Lantern in which Berlanti offered up that he (Berlanti) didn’t have much to do with the finished product — Berlanti was fired from writing and directing. Johns was probably more or less an advisor on Green Lantern, offering his two cents when someone would listen (and they probably didn’t). Berlanti is now involved with the DC movies as well, as a Booster Gold film is in development that Berlanti wants to direct (more of Berlanti is always a good thing).

It’s also noted Johns is still sticking with the DC Comics division, so no worries there.

The report also mentions WB is smoothing out the third act of Suicide Squad as “WB wants to make sure audiences expectations are not only met but exceeded,” and that Geoff Johns is involved in post-production.

It’s reported the reason WB parted ways with Seth Grahame-Smith over directing the Ezra Miler The Flash movie is because they didn’t want a newcomer on board — they want a seasoned vet who can make his stamp on a movie with a $150 million budget.

My two cents on Zack Snyder is that WB gave him too much free rein. It was a mistake to kill both Zod and Superman (among other things), something of which Christopher Nolan argued against. I think Snyder made the mistake of thinking he could do whatever he wanted with these iconic characters — thinking that fans would like whatever he did just because they are said iconic characters. I think Snyder made the mistake of intentionally attempting to go in an opposite approach than Marvel, with Marvel’s route being to basically stick pretty close to the comics and a big desire to please the fans. Snyder at times did what he wanted to do and laughed about it. Not a good thing, which Batman Vs. Superman, and Man of Steel to a lesser extent, proves. I think Snyder is a good visual director and there is a place for him in the DCEU, it’s just that he needs someone (Johns, Affleck, Berg) to rein him in.

Ben Affleck Said To Be Working On Justice League Rewrites

A couple of days ago saw it revealed that Ben Affleck has been named as an executive producer on the Justice League movie.

It was reported that Ben Affleck “will work with director Zack Snyder and screenwriter Chris Terrio behind the scenes to make the film the best it can be.”

Now it’s learned that some of Affleck’s duties will be to help rewrite the Justice League script (which is currently filming).

While Forbes is spinning the news that Affleck is simply helping out to get the Justice League script more in tune with his Batman solo movie, I’m guessing it has more to do with the trainwreck of a script that was Batman Vs. Superman (and of course the negative reviews, reactions and poor box office performance).

While Terrio might be an Oscar award-winning Hollywood screenplay writer, his Batman Vs. Superman script was a complete disaster. Now whether that’s Terrio’s fault, Snyder’s fault or David Goyer’s fault is anyone’s guess (or all three), the fact is Terrio never read a comic book in his life prior to writing Batman Vs. Superman, and Terrio is said to have at least written the new and younger Lex Luthor, which a lot of fans loathed.

So it’s definitely a good thing Ben Affleck is coming on board to offer his two cents on Justice League. Affleck also co-wrote the upcoming solo Batman movie with DC Entertainment chief creative officer and comic book writer Geoff Johns. It’s assumed Affleck will direct the solo Batman movie as well.

Affleck is also currently in the UK with his family for the filming of Justice League.

Ben Affleck Named Executive Producer On Justice League Movie

More than likely as a result of the lackluster performace and reviews for Batman Vs. Superman, Ben Affleck has now come on board the Justice League movie as executive producer.

Deadline reports Ben Affleck “will work with director Zack Snyder and screenwriter Chris Terrio behind the scenes to make the film the best it can be.”

The article also notes: “Affleck is doing this to be supportive of Snyder, with whom he worked well on Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice,” and also that: “Warner Bros is still figuring out its stylistic superhero mojo, and Affleck will help.”

Affleck is also co-writing, directing and starring in the upcoming standalone Batman movie.

Batman Vs. Superman has grossed $864 million, which is shy of the $900 million needed for the movie to take a profit and well shy of the magic billion dollar number WB was hoping for.

There have been a lot of rumors and controversy as of late surrounding Zack Snyder and Batman Vs. Superman ranging from comic book professionals telling Snyder FU, to The Flash losing its director, to the panic button being hit.

Ezra Miller Batman Vs. Superman Flash Revealed

Images revealing a close look at Ezra Miller as The Flash from Batman Vs. Superman have hit the net.

A user on reddit posted the pics.

The scene featured what is thought to have been either an alternate universe Flash or a Flash from the future (or both) reaching out to Bruce Wayne to warn and tell him to form the Justice League.

“Bruce! Listen to me now! It’s Lois! Lois Lane! She’s the key! Am I too soon?! I’m too soon! You were right about him! You’ve always been right about him! Fear him! Find us bruce! You have to find us!”

The Flash costume used in the scene seems to resemble The Flash from Injustice: Gods Among Us. Maybe Elseworlds, as well.

This also apparently won’t be The Flash costume in Justice League as Zack Snyder previously teased a look (see below).

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter as Senator Finch and Tao Okamoto as Mercy Graves.

Synopsis:

Fearing the actions of a god-like Super Hero left unchecked, Gotham City’s own formidable, forceful vigilante takes on Metropolis’s most revered, modern-day savior, while the world wrestles with what sort of hero it really needs. And with Batman and Superman at war with one another, a new threat quickly arises, putting mankind in greater danger than it’s ever known before.

The Flash & Aquaman Said To Lose Directors Over Batman Vs. Superman Reaction

It’s being said that The Flash movie has lost its director, and Aquaman may have lost its director.

Regarding The Flash movie, THR is reporting Seth Grahame-Smith (whom WB never actually officially announced) has left The Flash over “creative differences” which is set to star Ezra Miller as Barry Allen.

Now Birth.Movies.Death, who was the source of the Suicide Squad reshoot info, is stating James Wan is having second thoughts about the Aquaman film.

The reason?

Batman Vs. Superman.

BMD says:

Both Zack Snyder and Geoff Johns were “taken aback” by critical and audience reaction to Batman vs Superman.

WB execs are now said to be at odds with Snyder over his vision of the Justice League movie and the DCEU moving forward.

WB was hesitant to take any action regarding Snyder on Justice League because they felt it would hurt Batman Vs. Superman‘s box office, as Justice League films so close to the BVS release date.

It’s said there are “lot of fights” between Zack Snyder and Warner Bros. executives as well as “lots of pressure” from WB on Snyder.

Regarding Aquaman, it’s said James Wan is in “tremendous amount of trepidation” about doing Aquaman, and that he really doesn’t need it as he has Conjuring 2 and Lights Out coming out soon.

It’s further said Wan is trying to decide if he needs the “hassle,” and that Aquaman may be delayed.

The report suggests Wan has the “upper hand” regarding Aquaman and may be able to get it made the way he wants.

Snyder’s Justice League is said to basically remain as Snyder envisioned it (too late in the process for changes).

Suicide Squad looks to be a hit, as well as (obviously) the Ben Affleck Batman movie.

Justice League 2017: J.K. Simmons Talks Playing Commissioner Gordon

The DCEU Justice League will have a new Commissioner Gordon, played by the recently announced J.K. Simmons.

Collider caught up with the actor to get his thoughts. You can also read what the previous Gordon, Gary Oldman, had to say about giving advice to Simmons.

On reading the comics:

Well, to read the comics, yes, absolutely. I’m still a couple of months out from doing that and I have two other films before then, so I haven’t gotten started on that. Obviously, a lot of really wonderful actors have played that character previously, and most of them I saw at the time the movies came out, never imagining that I would be doing the same thing. So, I can’t say that I don’t have some impression of that character in my head that’s based on what I saw, but I’m not planning on going back and watching any of the other films. I’m just planning on learning as much as I can about him through the comics and getting my feet wet in the first movie, and then hopefully continuing on from there. I take this from my days doing theater. If I was doing a musical, I would never listen to the cast album because I wanted to do my version of something. I’m sure there will be differences and similarities with what Gary Oldman or Pat Hingle have done before, but I’m just going to try to do my take on it and be as informed as I can about the rich history of the Batman universe, going into it.

On also playing J. Jonah Jameson in Spider-Man:

There are easy comparisons to make. I wasn’t a big comic book reading kid, so I did a fair amount of reading when I was playing Jameson, who was very much the comic relief in those movies. Even in the comics, he was a blowhard who was all bark and very rarely bite. My understanding, from what I’ve learned so far about Commissioner Gordon, is that he’s the older guy with the mustache who relates with our hero in a certain way. Other than that, it’s a vastly different character and much more of a stronger, impactful character in the DC universe.

Kent Farm House Returning For Justice League

It’s learned the Kent Farm House looks to be returning in some form for the Justice League movie.

The Superman Home Page reports locals have seen movement in the area where the Kent Farm is located in Yorkville, Illinois.

It’s said security is patrolling the area and boards have been taken down from windows.

More than likely crews are preparing the Kent Farm House for filming Justice League at a later day. The farm house was specially created for Man of Steel, and then used again in Batman Vs. Superman.

With the Kent Farm House returning, it’s probably a safe bet Superman’s mom, played by Diane Lane, will be back for Justice League as well.

Perhaps something at the house plays into how Superman comes back to life?

Zack Snyder recently joked in an interview that Kryptonians decay slower or differently than humans. Well, Zod didn’t come back from a broken neck, but Superman is going to be able to return from getting a big whole punched through his heart? Should be interesting to see what happens. Any theories?

James Wan Talks Aquaman & Justice League

While at CinemaCon promoting The Conjuring 2, MTV caught up with director James Wan for an update on his Aquaman movie, where Wan also mentions Justice League.

A big part of it was me telling them what potential I saw in this character. As we all know, Aquaman is somewhat the butt of the joke in the superhero world. There’s something cool about that. I love the idea of being the underdog, coming in with a take on this underdog character and completely blow people’s expectations away. Like, ’Oh, you thought he was going to be a wimpy character? No no no.’ It’s going to be so cool.

There’s Justice League that happens before it, so I have to be respectful to that But in a lot of ways… it’s a continuation but there are origin elements as well — and that’s the story that I’m excited to tell.

Jasom Momoa first appeared in Batman Vs. Superman in a cameo role; Justice League is currently filming for its November 17, 2017 release, and the Aquaman movie is scheduled for a July 27, 2018 release also starring Amber Heard as Mera.

WARNER BROS. PICTURES’ CINEMACON PRESENTATION HITS THE JACKPOT IN LAS VEGAS

Warner Bros. Pictures showcased an impressive lineup of talents and highly anticipated films at this year’s CinemaCon, which generated tremendous excitement for the Studio’s wide-ranging slate. Chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara opened the program and announced that Ben Affleck—who will again play the role of Batman in the upcoming Justice League movie—will direct, as well as star in, a new stand-alone Batman feature.

The Studio’s presentation was highlighted by trailers and film clips—including some never-before-seen footage—and appearances by some of the major stars and filmmakers involved in each of the movies. It also served to illustrate Tsujihara’s statement about the diversity of the slate: built on the foundation of the key franchises of DC Super Heroes, animated LEGO® features, and “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” but also encompassing a broad scope of dramas, action adventures, horror thrillers and comedies.

There were also speeches from Sue Kroll, in her new post as Warner Bros. Pictures President of Worldwide Marketing and Distribution, and Veronika Kwan Vandenberg, who was recently named President of Worldwide Distribution.

Remarking on the Warner Bros. event, Kroll said, “CinemaCon is always one of the high points of our year: when we get to introduce our upcoming slate to our partners in the exhibition community who are responsible for bringing our films to audiences worldwide. It was wonderful to have this opportunity to showcase the broad range of films Warner Bros. has on the horizon, as well as some of the extraordinary artists behind them.”

Kwan Vandenberg added, “We appreciated the enthusiastic participation of actors and filmmakers from every title, who added tremendous star power to the presentation. CinemaCon gives us a chance to reinforce our commitment to the big-screen experience on a global level.”

Kicking off the film presentation with a bang, Ben Affleck and Amy Adams introduced a thrilling reel spotlighting the Studio’s ambitious slate of DC films. The roster includes the new Justice League film, as well as stand-alone features for Wonder Woman, The Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg. Director Zack Snyder closed the reel with a greeting from the Justice League film set, surrounded by his stars.

The DC preview also included a glimpse of the summer’s hotly anticipated action adventure “Suicide Squad” and, immediately following, writer/director David Ayer took the stage and introduced the main ensemble cast, led by Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie and Joel Kinnaman. The extended version of the “Suicide Squad” trailer was met with loud applause and the buzz surrounding the film was palpable.

Host Mario Lopez then took the attendees through the rest of the summer line-up, including advance footage from the wide range of titles. The stars and filmmakers who excited the crowd about their upcoming films included: Russell Crowe for the action comedy “The Nice Guys”; Emilia Clarke for the drama “Me Before You” (from New Line Cinema and Metro-Goldwyn Mayer); James Wan, Vera Farmiga and Patrick Wilson for the supernatural thriller “The Conjuring 2” (from New Line Cinema); Teresa Palmer and David F. Sandberg for the horror thriller “Lights Out” (from New Line Cinema); Kevin Hart and Rawson Marshall Thurber for the action comedy “Central Intelligence” (from New Line Cinema and Universal Pictures), which included a taped greeting from Dwayne Johnson; Alexander Skarsgård, Margot Robbie, Samuel L. Jackson and Christoph Waltz for the adventure “The Legend of Tarzan” (from Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures); and Todd Phillips and Bradley Cooper for the comedic drama “War Dogs,” which is based on real events. Looking past the summer, Warner Bros. unveiled some of the films on the drawing board from the Warner Animation Group, or WAG for short. Three of the brilliant minds in the WAG think tank—Christopher Miller, Phil Lord and Nicholas Stoller—came to the stage to introduce a special reel featuring a few of the titles in the pipeline, anchored by three new films in the LEGO® movie franchise: “The LEGO® Batman Movie,” “The LEGO® Movie 2” and “Ninjago.” Stoller, who co-directed the next WAG film on the slate, “Storks,” was joined by fellow director Doug Sweetland and voice talents Andy Samberg and Katie Crown to present new footage from the heartwarming and hilarious family adventure.

The animation portion wrapped with never-before-seen footage from “The LEGO® Batman Movie,” which gives the breakout star of the hit “The LEGO® Movie” a film of his own. Drawing laughter and enthusiastic applause, the clip was presented by producers Lord and Miller, joined by the voice of LEGO® Batman himself, Will Arnett, who made a surprise appearance to the delight of everyone there.

Warner Bros. closed the presentation with a look at the most magical film of the year, “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” written by Harry Potter creator J.K. Rowling, which will bring moviegoers to a new place and time in the wizarding world. Four of the film’s stars, Eddie Redmayne, Alison Sudol, Dan Fogler and Colin Farrell, came to the stage to introduce the new teaser trailer and a look behind the scenes of the film, which has already captivated fans.

Ben Affleck To Direct & Star In Batman Movie Confirmed

It’s confirmed Ben Affleck will both direct and star in a new standalone Batman movie.

Affleck also wrote the script with DC Entertainment chief creative officer and comic book writer Geoff Johns.

Warner Bros. chairman and CEO Kevin Tsujihara confirmed the news Tuesday at CinemaCon, stating WB is movie forward with the Affleck Batman movie.

Kevin Tsujihara also had good things to say about the record opening of Batman Vs. Superman, which leads into Justice League.

“It set up a great foundation for our DC slate, which includes at least 10 movies through 2020,” Tsujihara told a packed room, reports THR. “I’m also excited to know that we will be working with Ben Affleck on a stand-alone Batman movie.”

Previously it was reported that Ben Affleck was only contracted to do two more movies following Batman Vs. Superman with Justice League parts 1 and 2, but obviously now we see Affleck and WB have extended the Batman deal. Ben Affleck is also appearing in August’s Suicide Squad movie.

The new Batman movie has yet to have a release date, but WB did just announce release dates for two DC movies – Oct. 5, 2018, and Nov. 1, 2019 – with one more than likely for Affleck’s Caped Crusader film.

Warner Bros. also showed off a DC Cinematic reel at CinemaCon which was introduced by Amy Adams (Lois Lane).

“You get your first real taste of this expanding universe,” Warners film chief Greg Silverman said in the clip.

Earlier rumors surrounding the solo Batman movie have mentioned the Red Hood.

Here is the current release dates for the DC movies:

August 05, 2016 – Suicide Squad

June 02, 2017 – Wonder Woman
November 17, 2017  – Justice League Part One

March 23, 2018 – The Flash
July 27, 2018 – Aquaman
October 05, 2018 – Untitled DC Film

April 03, 2020 – Cyborg
June 19, 2020 – Green Lantern Corps

Original Batman vs. Superman Cut Was Four Hours Long

Maybe if Zack Snyder’s longer cut of Batman Vs. Superman was screened in theaters, we all would have been happy?

Not only is there the upcoming Blu-Ray director’s cut of Batman Vs. Superman that is three hours long, but the original cut was actually closer to four hours long, with still another cut about three-and-a-half hours long, and then down to three hours, and finally down to 2 hours 33 minutes.

It’s learned the longers cuts of Batman Vs. Superman contained a lot more story focusing on the individual characters, which I felt was blatantly missing from the theatrical version and made the movie suffer overall.

The editor on Batman Vs. Superman as well as Man of Steel and the upcoming Justice League, David Brenner, spoke in length with Pro Video Coalition about the editing process of movies where mention was made about Dawn of Justice.

Some highlights:

“In the script there were more story lines than you see in the movie today. That was probably our biggest editorial issue in trying to get the cut down to a reasonable length.”

“For us, the trickiest section was the beginning of the film, until the point where Bruce Wayne tells Alfred the truth about what is on the ‘White Portugese’ ship… the truth about his plan.”

“Also in terms of building this beginning we had to move things around. In the script, Lex was introduced much later, but we found that in watching the movie – because he’s such an important player, it was best to set him up sooner.”

“It was a lot to juggle. So the plot lines of a couple characters had to go.”

“So what was once a nearly four hour cut with absolutely everything was ridiculous – ended up being about a three hour cut, once all these added storylines were refined with the fat was cut out.”

“I remember being a little worried.  Three and a half hours, okay, that’s fine for a movie of this size, the way Zack likes to work.   This was more daunting.   But we cut down ‘Man of Steel’ from about 3 and half hours, I knew we’d get this done.

“[Zack Snyder’s] a super visual guy. He was a painter before he was a director, and more than anyone I’ve ever worked with he thinks in terms of pictures. He storyboards his movies himself.  The whole movie from start to finish, he draws. He keeps books. ‘BvS’ had maybe three books of his drawings.”

“Right now he’s so busy in London prepping ‘Justice League,’ I’m the last guy he has time to talk to. I have questions, so I’ll wait till I go to London at the end of the week and I’ll figure it out. I think the more the work with somebody the more you understand that there’s a shorthand and it’s all going to be answered and there’s less anxiety about it.”

Hit the link above for more. It’s a good interview.
