Avengers Re-Assemble! Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson Might Return To MCU

With Marvel in turmoil, that might mean bringing back the big guns as it is reported The Avengers might be reassembling which would mean bringing back Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson who died in The Avengers: Endgame.

I’ve been telling you guys for years that Marvel is in trouble and now it’s all coming out.

The Avengers re-assemble!

The latest is again from Variety who confirmed by Daredevil: Born Again info, and now in a report about the “Crisis at Marvel,” says Kevin Feige is considering bringing back The Avengers. Of course, that means reviving Robert Downey Jr.’s Tony Stark and Iron Man and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, as they both died at the hands of the Great Titan Thanos.

Here is what Variety has to say. Check out the latest rumors below.

With Iger publicly acknowledging the downside of a Marvel TV glut that “diluted focus and attention,” the keepers of the comic book empire are considering some dramatic moves. Sources say there have been talks to bring back the original gang for an “Avengers” movie. This would include reviving Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and Scarlett Johansson’s Black Widow, both of whom were killed off in “Endgame.” (That shouldn’t be a stumbling block — in comic books, beloved characters are often killed off, only to be resurrected thanks to the power of things like the multiverse.) But the studio hasn’t yet committed to the idea — if it were able to bring those actors back, it wouldn’t come cheap. Sources say Downey Jr.’s upfront salary for “Iron Man 3” was around $25 million.

Avengers Reassembling For Marvel Nomad Series: Scarlett Johansson, Chris Evans, Robert Downey Jr. (rumor)

Nomad rumors

Robert Downey Jr. has actually been previously rumored to be returning a part of a Nomad series and Avengers: Secret Wars.

The Nomad rumors offer Robert Downey Jr. is going to return to Marvel as Iron Man in a new series along with likely Chris Evans as Captain America. It’s said, the series will follow Captain America becoming Nomad after finding out that the President of the United States is part of the villainous Secret Empire.

“Captain America sheds his name and becomes Nomad, as he cannot support America when finding out about this dark secret,” says the rumor from back in February.

Tthe Nomad series will follow Captain America as he travels back in time to return the Infinity Stones and that Cap runs into Tony Stark in the past, which explains the return of Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man.

An updated rumor then added the return of Scarlett Johansson.

The Avengers: Secret Wars rumors

The Avengers: Secret Wars rumor is from back in October of 2022 via the MyTimeToShineHello Twitter account which seems to be really connected to the industry and has been leaking tons of Marvel info.

Responding to claims Robert Downey Jr. will appear in both Avengers: Kang Dynasty and Avengers: Secret Wars, the Twitter account shot down Kang Dynasty.

Secret Wars yes, Kang Dynasty no,” says MyTimeToShineHello.

The account also tweeted that Tony Stark’s daughter, Morgan Stark, will return as an adult and be a big part of the MCU.

“Adult Morgan Stark will return and in a big way,” the account tweeted and added a quote from Tony Stark: “The epic forces of dark and light that have come in to play. And for better or worse, that’s the reality Morgan’s gonna have to find a way to grow up in.”

The quote comes from Tony Stark’s farewell speech that was played after his death in Avengers: Endgame for Happy Hogan, Pepper Potts, Rhodey, and Morgan.

Update: It’s claimed RDJ is back.

The Savage Hulk is also said to be returning to the MCU, and worth a mention is that Thor in the Marvel Comics is apparently back to being a badass a part of the Ultimate Universe.

Variety also adds Blade is in big-time danger, Doctor Doom could be used instead of Kang, and the director left The Marvels unfinished.
