The Marvel Netflix characters are said to be appearing in the upcoming ‘Echo’ Disney Plus series.
As expected, the latest episode of Marvel’s Hawkeye on Disney Plus happened to feature none other than Vincent D’Onofrio as the Kingpin. James Gunn recently announced the official cast of The Suicide Squad with a cool poster featuring a list of the actors’ names, but Jared Leto, who played the Joker in the first flick, wasn’t among them. Marvel’s Daredevil Kingpin actor Vincent D’Onofrio took to Twitter in a controversial tweet pointing out that he was surprised
Vincent D’Onofrio once again speaks out on the cancellation of the Daredevil series with the mention that it wasn’t actually canceled, but stopped by both Disney and Netflix. Speaking with the Daily Mail, the Kingpin actor also says the cast would love to return. “I think the writers, the producers, and the actors really got

A fan questioned Vincent D’Onofrio on Twitter if he had a chance to play another character in Daredevil, who would it be? Vincent D’Onofrio replied, “I wouldn’t. I’d jump over to DC and play Lex.”
With Iron Fist and Luke Cage getting canceled, there has been speculation Daredevil and the other Marvel Netflix shows might get the axe, but Vincent D’Onofrio says otherwise. A fan remarked to the Kingpin actor on Twitter that “they are cancelling them,” which saw Vincent D’Onofrio reply with a simple, “Nope.” Nope https://t.co/0b4B9Gc2k0 — Vincent D’Onofrio (@vincentdonofrio) October
Marvel’s Daredevil Season 3 sees Vincent D’Onofrio return as the fan favorite Wilson Fisk, aks Kingpin, and now the actor is back on social media teasing the character. “The thing about FISK,” Vincent D’Onofrio tweeted. “He is in a constant state of emergency when he is not near Vanessa. Marvel’s Kingpin wants a role in the DCEU!
For fans (still?) hoping to see the Marvel TV characters in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it seems you may have to make a deal with Mephisto to get it to happen, and then that still might not be enough. The latest on the disconnect between Marvel TV and Marvel Studios comes from Vincent D'Onofrio, who plays

Javier Gutierrez and stars Matilda Lutz, Alex Roe, Johnny Galecki, Aimee Teegarden, Bonnie Morgan, and Vincent D’Onofrio. Synopsis: A new chapter in the beloved RING horror
It seems some people just can’t accept that the MCU and Marvel TV are separate. Or still don’t realize it, yet.
The latest speculation sees that since Marvel Studios and Sony are making a new Spider-Man: Homecoming movie that the Kingpin might be featured in some capacity.
In the comics, Spider-Man is known to battle the Kingpin a time or two.
The news of some fans wanting Kingpin in Spider-Man: Homecoming has made its way to Vincent D’Onofrio who plays the character in the Marvel TV Netflix Daredevil series; however, Vincent D’Onofrio basically says it’s wishful thinking.
“Sorry folks but this is news to me,” Vincent D’Onofrio tweeted. “It would be great but I don’t think it will happen.”
For those still not convinced about the Marvel Studios and Marvel TV disconnection, even Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn confirmed with: “There is Marvel TV who is pretty disconnected from Marvel Film, which is owned by Disney, and that’s really not connected at all.”
Daredevil Charlie Cox even thought they might recast DD for the MCU.
If you are just catching up with why the Marvel movies and Marvel TV (and comics) are so far apart, it seems the blame is to lie with eccentric Marvel CEO Ike Perlmutter and his comic creative committe (which runs Marvel TV and comics).
Sorry folks but this is news to me.

Yesterday saw five names surface to potentially play the new Spider-Man with 20-year-old Nat Wolff listed amongst them.
Now the Kingpin himself, Vincent D’Onofrio, has declared that Wolff should play Spider-Man.
Wolff and D’Onofrio appear together in the upcoming film, In Dubious Battle, which also stars James Franco, Bryan Cranston, Selena Gomez, Josh Hutcherson and Ed Harris.
“Joe … Nat Wolff would be my choice for spidey! Check him out. @natandalex brilliant young actor,” Daredevil‘s Wilson Fisk tweeted to Marvel Chief Creative Officer Joe Quesada.
“NAT WOLFF @natandalex should be SPIDEY,” D’Onofrio tweeted a second time. “Marvel knows best though they are batting 1000. I think Nat is perfect.”
The four other actors said to be up for Spider-Man are: Asa Butterfield, Tom Holland, Timothee Chalamet and Liam James.
The new Spider-Man will debut in a Marvel movie prior to the new standalone Spidey movie from Sony in 2017.
Marvel has also recently announced a Daredevil Season 2.

Believe it not, we are just about a week away from the big debut of Marvel’s Daredevil series on Netflix.
Daredevil will be available with all thirteen episodes next Friday, April 10th.
Disney’s PR sites have already given the series rave reviews, and since the Marvel movie universe and TV universe is connected, maybe one day we’ll get to see Daredevil alongside the Avengers.
Or how about Spider-Man vs. Kingpin as Wilson Fix is featured in many of the Spidey Marvel comics?
“That would be super-cool, yeah,” Vincent D’Onofrio told IGN. “To be able to kick Spider-Man’s butt would be awesome.
“But we just don’t know about those things,” he continued. “Those are all the Marvel secrets that they never tell us until they need us, so… Yeah, I would do it. I would do it in second.”

Check out a first look image below at Vincent D’Onofrio as the villain of the Daredevil Netflix series, Wilsin Fisk, aka The Kingpin.
USA Today posted the image including comments by D’Onofrio and showrunner Steven DeKnight.
D’Onofrio on Kingpin:
I just brought in this kind of character who in one sentence could easily go from being a child to a monster, depending on where his emotions take him. I wanted him to have an appearance of being super-powerful so that when he throws a punch, it’s a major punch. There’s a lot of weight behind it.
DeKnight on D’Onofrio:
He had a passion and an understanding of what we were trying to do, of making it a very grounded, gritty, realistic show. Here is an actor who’s really thinking about it on not only a character depth but a visual depth that I really loved.
