The Avengers 2 Hulkbuster Iron Man Vs. Hulk Statues

Check out a first look at The Avengers 2 Kotobukiya’s Hulkbuster Iron Man and Hulk ARTFX+ Statues.

Via Marvel:

Both statues are sculpted by the same master artist who was responsible for the Avengers Marvel Now series, the infamous Junnosuke Abe and are intricately crafted to perfection. The Hulkbuster Iron Man stands at a towering 11 ½ inches tall while the Hulk reaches 9 ½ inches (both in the ARTFX+ 1/10th scale).  Both massive combatants stride across the field of battle, while destroying a brick street underneath their massive weight. While each of the Marvel’s ‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ ARTFX+ is an incredible display piece on their own, they’re even better together… as you can join their bases to recreate the epic battle scene in this summer’s highly anticipated film.

Andy Serkis Confirmed As Klaw For The Avengers 2

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:19001:]]

It’s finally confirmed what everybody has been speculating: Andy Serkis is playing Ulysses Klaw in The Avengers 2.

Marvel provided their Disney fan site, Stitchkingdom, an official description of the recent Serkis image stating the character is Ulysses Klaw.

With Serkis confirmed as Klaw, it’s probably more than likely The Avengers 2 will reference Black Panther. In the comics, Klaw went to Wakanda to steal Vibranium and ended up killing Black Panther’s father.

It’s been our guess for a while that Chadwick Boseman will first appear in The Avengers 2 as T’Challa, and then in full costume as Black Panther in Captain America: Civil War, which follows Avengers 2 a year later.

The Avengers 2 Scarlet Witch & Quicksilver Origin Of Powers Revealed

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18996:]]

An official prequel digital comic book has been released by Marvel for The Avengers 2 which reveals the origin of Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver’s powers.

The comic sees Baron Von Strucker, working for Hydra, using Loki’s Scepter on test subjects unlocking their potential powers.

And the first two test subjects?

Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver.

The comic also seems to indicate that the crystal in Loki’s Scepter is an Infinity Stone as it’s mentioned the crystal and the Tesseract (a confirmed Infinity Stone) are connected (via Newsarama).

For those thinking that the Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver are really Inhumans, previously Marvel Studios president and producer Kevin Feige flat out stated no when directly questioned about it.

Ultron & Adam Warlock Rumored For Guardians of the Galaxy 2

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18974:]]

Some new rumors are suggesting that James Gunn may be adapting Dan Abnett and Andy Lanning’s Marvel Cosmic event Annihilation Conquest.

According to a Reddit user claiming he has been laid off as an intern for Marvel Studios, Guardians of the Galaxy 2 will feature Adam Warlock and Ultron.

The user claims to have a 200-page notebook filled with Marvel info that he acquired while working at Marvel for the past year.

Details for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 include that “Marvel is ready to push Adam Warlock on everyone and it’s going to rock!” The user also says Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is still being written and that “Gunn keeps that close to his chest.”

When questioned in regards to what movie coming up should be the most exciting, the user responds, “Guardians 2.”

The user also suggests to read Abnett and Lanning’s Annihilation Conquest stating “it’s a good book.”

Adam Warlock is also said to be the “#1 ‘wow, blown away, didn’t see that coming’ type item.”

“Adam Warlock. He’s a character Marvel has been sitting on for years. When they put him into play, it’s going to elevate the MCU to something else all together,” the reported Marvel leaker said.

The leaker also added that no one has been cast as Adam Warlock as far as he knew.

Other details mentioned include:

Mephisto will be the “new Loki” for Phase 3.

Adam McKay, Matt Reeves and Gareth Edwards are wanted to direct Thor 3.

Beta Ray Bill is a possibility.

It’s said Marvel ended discussions with Sony about Spider-Man because: “Marvel didn’t feel like they wanted to wait on Sony and Avi Arad. They were playing hardball and were difficult to deal with. not worth Marvel’s time so they dropped discussions.”

New Infinity Stones will show up in Doctor Strange and Guardians of the Galaxy 2.

ABC’s Agents Of SHIELD will appear in The Avengers 2.

Hank Pym is said to be a “Villain” with the following also stated:

Flashbacks would reveal that Hank and Janet worked as a duo. During a small mission, Janet is killed. This devastates Hank.

He devotes himself and his company to protecting people. Think like Tony in IM1. Problem is, he becomes paranoid, over protective. The board and Cross decide that Pym is out of control, and that he’s abusing the company’s resources. they out him as president.

Hank then hires Scott to steal from Cross, which he has a plan which would put him back in control of his company. During third act Pym reveals that he has a plan to control heroes. He doesn’t want anybody to get hurt like Janet did. Hope and Scott see how deranged this is.

By end of movie, Cross is outed and Pym is back. He starts the hard path towards Civil War by setting up the Registration act with Tony who he sees as a tool to accomplish his goals.

Again, not a true ‘villain’ more of a misunderstood good guy.

It should be noted, another Reddit user claiming to be an actual Marvel intern is stating the above is false.

Chris Hemsworth Teases Thor 3 (Video)

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18959:]]

We get a short video of Chris Hemsworth discussing Thor 3.

While Hemsworth can’t say much – there isn’t even a script – Hemsworth goes tell Digital Spy it’s going to be big.

“Yeah. Definitely. I mean it has to. Doesn’t it?” Hemsworth responds when questioned if The Avengers: Age Of Utron will impact Thor 3. “No, I can’t [give any hints], but also there is no script for the next Thor, so I have no idea where we are going to end up, but it’s pretty big – this one.”

As mentioned, Chris Hemsworth will be featured in The Avengers: Age of Ultron prior to Thor 3, and for some reason, Thor is a heavy favorite to be killed off in Avengers 2. It’s possible the Marvel comic books could be to blame as anytime Thor is set to appear on the big screen, they either kill off or replace the character. Another reason could be that Joss Whedon has been teasing dead Avengers. There is also the fact that most of the cast of The Avengers 2 has been said to be appearing in Captain America 3, but not Thor (or the Hulk for that matter).

Thor: Ragnarok hits July 28, 2017.

Jurassic World Indominus Rex Description & Teaser Images

The official Jurassic World website has been updated with a description and images for the new hybrid dinosaur, Indominus Rex.

JurassicWorld.com lists Indominus Rex as follows:

Name Meaning: Fierce or Untamable King

Habitat: Jurassic World

Length: Currently 40 feet

Weight: TBD

Origin: Hammond Creation Lab

We set out to make Indominus the most fearsome dinosaur ever to be displayed at Jurassic World. The genetic engineers at our Hammond Creation Lab have more than delivered.

At first glance, Indominus most closely resembles a T. Rex. But its distinctive head ornamentation and ultra-tough bony osteoderms can be traced from Theropods known as Abeliosaurs. Indominus‘ horns have been placed above the eye orbit through genetic material hybridized from Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops and Giganotosaurus. Fearsome indeed.

Indominus‘ roar is estimated to reach 140-160db—the same as a 747 taking off and landing. And it can reach speeds of 30 mph…while confined to its enclosure. Come experience Indominus Rex for yourself beginning this summer. If you dare.

Joss Whedon Says “The Avengers Need To Die”

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18906:]]

Bad news for The Avengers as Joss Whedon seems to be on the side of Ultron.

Joss Whedon’s The Avengers: Age Of Ultron comes out this May, and if Whedon’s following words are anything to go by, it’s possible at least one Avenger might not make it out alive.

“I’ve been working on a lot of Ultron scenes so I’m very anti-Avengers right now,” Whedon told Empire Magazine. “You can’t write someone if you don’t love them and I’ve come to the conclusion that Ultron is right. The Avengers need to die.”

In a previous interview, Whedon hinted that things aren’t looking good for the Avengers as he noted: “The creation of the team is not the happy ending. It is the beginning of something that is complex and difficult.”

The same interview also saw Whedon say that in further exploring the characters in The Avengers 2, he was “twisting the knife.”

Elizabeth Olsen Talks Teaming With Spoiler In The Avengers 2

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18899:]]

It’s known that Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver team with Ultron in The Avengers 2.

Empire Magazine has a featured article with Elizabeth Olsen and asks the actress how that comes about.

Obviously there are plenty of countries in the world that hate America, for whatever historical pain they believe it has caused their own country and their own lives. That is the world we have created for Wanda and Pietro, to have been brought up in. What you’re told a lot of times growing up is that that country, those people, their way of living is the reason why we have been bombed. They [The Avengers] are the worst evil in Wanda and Pietro’s mind, not this guy who hasn’t done anything yet.

Olsen also talks more about Scarlet Witch’s powers.

The extent of our powers isn’t fully explored in Ultron. But she can manipulate objects. And she has visions, and she has the ability to share them.

In the Marvel Comics, Scarlet Witch gets romantically involved with the Vision. Will it happen in the movie?

[Laughs] I don’t know what you’re talking about…

“The Avengers: Age Of Ultron” hits May 1, 2015 directed by Joss Whedon starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Mark Ruffalo, Jeremy Renner, Samuel L. Robert Downey Jr. Explains Why Captain America 3 & Not Iron Man 4

The latest issue of Empire Magazine features Robert Downey Jr. discussing Captain America: Civil War, which follows The Avengers: Age Of Ultron.

It’s learned that if Robert Downey Jr. didn’t do Captain America 3, but maybe an Iron Man 4 instead, “Civil War” would have never happened.

They said to me, ‘If we have you, we can do this, or Cap 3 has to be something else.’ It’s nice to feel needed. And at this point it’s about helping each other, too. I look at it as a competition and I go, ‘Wow, maybe if these two franchises teamed up and I can take even a lesser position, with people I like and directors I respect, maybe we can keep things bumping along.’

Robert Downey Jr. also teases the seed for Civil War is planted in The Avengers 2.

It’s natural to change your views…The main thing to me is, what sort of incident could occur, and what sort of framework could we find Tony in? The clues about where we might find him next are in Ultron. But what would it take for Tony to completely turn around everything he’s stood for? Joss brings this up all the time. It’s kind of weird that these guys would have all these throw downs all over planet Earth and yet when the movie’s over, nobody minds. What would the American government do if this were real? Wouldn’t it be interesting to see Tony doing something you wouldn’t imagine?

In the Marvel Comics Civil War storyline, Iron Man was looked at as more the villain than Captain America; however, Robert Downey Jr. offers and interesting tidbit in that it could be Steve Rogers who is the one more to change his ways than Tony Stark.

The biggest question is, for Chris and for Cap, how do we bring Cap to a place where people go, ‘Man, I never thought I would see such a vast change in Steve.’ After you see Snowpiercer, you’re like, ‘I want to see a little bit of that guy.’

“Captain America: Civil War” has a May 6, 2016 release directed by Anthony and Joe Russo starring Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Anthony Mackie as Falcon, Sebastian Stan as Winter Soldier and Chadwick Boseman as Black Panther.

Josh Whedon Doubtful For The Avengers 3 & 4 Infinity War

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:18897:]]

It doesn’t sound as if Joss Whedon will be back to direct The Avengers 3 or The Avengers 4, which are the Marvel Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2 movies.

Whedon, who directed The Avengers and has The Avengers: Age Of Ultron coming out in May, recently spoke with Empire Magazine where he let the news be known.

“I couldn’t imagine doing this again,” Whedon said.  “It’s enormously hard, and it be, by then, a good five years since I created anything that was completely my own.  So it’s very doubtful that I would take on the two-part Infinity War movie that would eat up the next four years of my life.  I obviously still want to be a part of the Marvel Universe – I love these guys – but it ain’t easy.  This year has been more like running three shows than any year of my life.  It is bonkers.”

With Whedon seemingly already out of the picture, it’s actually been said Captain America 2 and 3 directors Anthony and Joe Russo will be directing The Avengers: Infinity War Part 1 and Part 2 as leaked e-mails as a result of a Sony hack mentioned the directors involvement.
