Watch: Hugh Jackman & Chris Hemsworth On Jimmy Fallon

Check out Thor and Wolverine on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Hugh Jackman was a guest with Chris Hemsworth appearing to help out with a skit long with members of SNL.

Hemsworth will be hosting Saturday Night Live tomorrow night.

Maybe one day we’ll get to see both actors on the big screen together. Hugh Jackman was pretty optimistic about it as he recently said it could possibly happen.

Also watch Jackman below talking about his latest movie, Chappie, which is now in theaters.

Hemsworth stars in The Avengers 2 in May.

Wolverine 2 To Film In 2016

Good news for fans of The Wolverine as the sequel is due to begin filming next year.

A fan asked director James Mangold when the next movie would start filming, with Mangold replying on Twitter, “Early next year.”

The Wolverine sequel is due out March 3, 2017 which will see Hugh Jackman return as well.

In addition to Jackman, fellow X-Men star Patrick Stewart appears to be onboard.

Hugh Jackman also recently made comments that he plans on playing Wolverine for as long as he can, and he also said that he plans to make Wolverine better both physically and emotionally.

Hugh Jackman next stars as Wolverine in X-Men: Apocalypse, out May 27, 2016, and said he would be up for a cameo in the Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie.

Marvel’s recent Avengers 2 trailer blew just about everybody away, but it’s was missing at least one thing.

Spider-Man!

Spider-Man is set to appear in Captain America: Civil War as well as a new standalone 2017 film with Marvel’s involvement.

Jared Leto’s Joker Has No Eyebrows

We get a second image of the new look of Jared Leto as the actor recently got a hair cut, shave and had his hair bleached.

Leto posted the following image on Instagram offering a close-up look at the top of his face where we see Leto has no eyebrows.

Leto added, “A look into tomorrow,” with the hashtag: #lovelustfaithdreams.

It’s likely Leto went without eyebrows for the Joker makeup.

Both Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson’s Joker did have eyebrows.

Harrison Ford Hospitalized Following Plane Crash

Harrison Ford was hospitalized this afternoon following a single-engine vintage plane crash he was piloting.

Shortly after takeoff, Ford was forced to emergency land the plane onto a Venice, California golf course.

According to a family member, Harris Ford is fine and suffered a few gashes.

It’s said Ford is expected to undergo surgery for some of the injuries and is in stable condition.

Ford is said to have reported engine trouble shortly after takeoff and attempted to return to the airport, according to the National Transportation Safety Board.

Ford’s publicist also released the following statement:

“Harrison was flying a WW2 vintage plane today which had engine trouble upon take off. He had no other choice but to make an emergency landing, which he did safely. He was banged up and is in the hospital receiving medical care. The injuries sustained are not life threatening, and he is expected to make a full recovery.”

No one else was injured.

What Happened To Robert Downey Jr.’s Big Announcement?

With the release of the Robert Downey Jr. Iron Man poster for the Avengers 2 came with it mention that “there’s a big announcement coming in 8 days.”

Spider-Man actor? Robert Downey Jr. in the new Spider-Man movie? Iron Man 4? Richard Rider Nova movie?

Well, eight days came and went and there was no “big announcement.”

It turns out the new trailer and word of tickets going on sale happened to be the “big announcement,” or so says the social media manager at Marvel.

Adri Crowan throws RDJ under the bus on Twitter by saying: “We never actually said there would be an announcement,” – obviously meaning “Marvel.”

Crowan continues by blaming news outlets and fans for false hype: “I think maybe people hyped it, not us, though.”

Cowan also responds as follows to the people complaining: “Yesterday was the big announcement. C’mon people.. Sorry for the awesome trailer and releasing tickets, guys! I’ll take them back now [pouts in corner].”

Cowan also lets it be known no big announcement will be forthcoming: “Yesterday was the announcement. Trailer, tickets on sale. Promise..”

We can either speculate there was a big announcement, but something caused it to get cancelled, or that RDJ’s Facebook people (or himself) posted incorrectly. 

And for the reccord: RDJ made the announcement on 2/25; 8 days later is today, Thursday, March 5th.

Watch: Legend of Zelda Fan-Film Trailer

While a live-action official Legend Of Zelda Netflix series is on the way (as well as a new video game), why wait when you can check out the above Legend Of Zelda fan-film trailer.

The fan-film took two years to make and comes from Player Piano and The Zelda Project, directed by Clinton Jones featuring Wes Johnson as Link.

The full short will be online later this year.

Journey into Hyrule like you’ve never seen it before as Link rides to the ruins of Castletown to face off in the Final Battle with Ganondorf to save Princess Zelda. 

This is a teaser for The Final Battle, a not-for-profit short fan film being produced as a collaboration between the Zelda Project and Player Piano, to bring fans of the Legend of Zelda a live-action recreation of the epic fight between Link and Ganondorf.

Get Dwayne Johnson For Dredd 2 Says Producer Adi Shankar

Adi Shankar, the producer who just released the controversial Power/Rangers fan-film and had his James Bond short yanked, offers up an explanation as to why Dredd 2 isn’t getting made and also how it possibly could get underway.

Bottom line: It’s all about money.

In the above video, Shankar goes over how Independent films are financed, which has to do with domestic value, international value as well as whatever subsidies and government rebates the filming location might offer.

If the cost of the movie is over the three values, no matter what, the movie isn’t going to get made.

Obviously if the cost is lower, the movie gets made (and why Shankar says the reason why “shitty” movies get made).

Regarding Dredd, the problem was it lost a lot of money through international distributors.

Shankar then offers three options to make a Dredd 2, which includes lowering the budget, getting a big-name director onboard and adding a big star.

Regarding the first two choices, those aren’t really options because lowering the budget would make it a terrible film and no big-name director is coming onboard a sequel following another director’s movie.

So the third option seems the best, with Adki Shankar recommending someone like Dwayne Johnson starring alongside Karl Urban.

With Jared Leto getting a haircut and shave for the Joker, the actor has now bee seen in public with the new look.

We also see that his hair is bleached, which I’m guessing enables the green hair dye to take hold. Leto’s hairdresser previously posted a pic of green hair dye as well.

Jared Leto Wants To Make His Joker The Best Version

Jared Leto has some mighty big shoes to fill as he follows the likes of Heath Ledger and Jack Nicholson as The Joker in Suicide Squad.

Leto has already taken a step in the right direction by getting his locks cut in addition to a shave.

Now according to the Hollywood Life gossip site, Leto plans on making his version of The Joker the best ever.

“He wants to make the character completely his own,” a source said. “He knows that this role may be his most difficult ever, but he is confident that he will make his version of the Joker the best. This Joker will be more cerebral and comedic than what we have seen before, nobody should expect a copycat version. It’s going to be awesome!”

The source also says Leto is well aware of his predecessors, but isn’t looking to upset their portrayals: “Jared wants to make sure his Joker is not only something the fans will love, but he doesn’t want to step on the toes of Jack Nicholson or Heath Ledger.”

Regarding Leto’s Joker, we may have clues as Leto’s hairdresser posted an image on Instagram of green hair dye, obviously signifying Leto’s hair will be possibly bright-ish green.

Another clue comes from Leto himself as the actor posted an image with his new clean-cut look and hand over one eye. While some may think it’s a reference to the All-Seeing Eye of the Illuminati/Lucifer (Miley Cyrus does this a lot), it actually may be a reference to Frank Miller’s The Dark Knight Returns graphic novel that inspired Batman Vs. Superman. The comic sees the Joker get hit in the eye with a Batarang.

DC Movies Are Edgier & More Real Than Marvel Says WB CEO

With Marvel releasing the awesome trailer for The Avengers 2 today, it was only a matter of time before the direct competition fired back.

Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara spoke at the Morgan Stanley Technology, Media & Telecom Conference today and addressed superhero movies.

“The key thing is that the movies and the television shows and the games, everything looks very different …you have to be able to take advantage of the diversity of these characters,” Tsujihara said in response to the notion that the business is suffering from “superhero fatigue,” reports Variety.

While DC is building a shared movie universe of their own, which kicked off with Man of Steel, Tsujihara says DC and Marvel are different.

“The worlds of DC are very different,” he said. “They’re steeped in realism, and they’re a little bit edgier than Marvel’s movies.”

Tsujihara noted that it’s easy to promote a superhero movie because lots of different people are already familiar with them.

“The big franchises are becoming more and more valuable,” said Tsujihara. “You don’t have to explain to the consumer what a Batman v Superman is.”

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” has a March 25, 2016 release starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, Diane Lane as Martha Kent, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg with Callan Mulvey, Holly Hunter and Tao Okamoto in new character roles for the film. The Avengers 2 Tickets Now On Sale

The Avengers 2 tickets are now on sale, which also includes advanced screenings.

Both AMC and Fandango have tickets available (just bought my advanced IMAX screening tickets!).

AMC also announced two events for The Avengers 2 with a double feature as well as a Marvel movie marathon.

The AMC double feature will have a showing of The Avengers followed by its sequel, The Avengers: Age Of Ultron (check local listings for times and dates).

The AMC Marvel Movie marathon will begin on April 29th featuring all 11 Marvel movies including Avengers 2 on April 30th — which comes to a total of 27 hours of footage.

Gal Gadot Getting Into Shape For Wonder Woman

Check out some new images of Gal Gadot.

While the pics are not specifically from her training for Wonder Woman – it’s an ad campaign for Castro – the images do appear to reveal some muscle tone.

Gadot has been under fire from fans and critics citing her supermodel figure is too skinny for the role of Wonder Woman.

It’s unknown if Gadot will appear as Wonder Woman in Batman Vs. Superman or just as her alter-ego Diana, which may not require her to be beefed up all that much.

Justice League is still a couple of years away, so she has plenty of time to add some additional muscle. I’m guessing she won’t look like a Gina Carano or Ronda Rousey, but just be more tone (she has a supermodel career after all).

Hopefully these latest images aren‘t photoshopped too much.

Check out a cool sequence featuring the Incredible Hulk taking on T-Rex dinosaurs.

Animator Dhanu Muddikuppam was playing around and posted this on his Vimeo page almost a year ago.

Muddikuppam is now working for Disney’s Industrial Lights & Magic and on Avengers 2.

Watch: James Bond Spectre Car Chase Filmed in Rome

Check out a new behind-the-scenes look at the James Bond Spectre movie as a car chase scene was being filmed in Rome.

The AP shot the video which features a car chase involving Bond’s silver Aston Martin and an orange Jaguar along banks of Tiber. 

“Spectre” has a November 6, 2015 release directed by Sam Mendes starring Daniel Craig as 007 James Bond, Rory Kinnear as Tanner, Ben Whishaw as Q, Naomie Harris as Moneypenny, Ralph Fiennes as M, Andrew Scott as Denbigh, David Bautista as Mr Hinx, Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra, Léa Seydoux as Madeleine Swan and Christoph Waltz as Oberhauser.

First Look At Battle Cat In Masters Of The Universe Movie

Following the logo reveal, we now get a first look at Battle Cat from the upcoming Masters of the Universe movie.

Producer DeVon Franklin shared the following image on Twitter when a fan remarked Masters of the Universe can be as popular as the Guardians of the Galaxy movie.

“I totally agree!!” Franklin enthusiastically responded.

Battle Cat is He-Man’s alter-ego of Cringer, the cowardly tiger that gets transformed into a war beast when He-Man wields his sword and says, “By The Power Of Greyskull! I have the Power!!”

Sony has yet to announce a release date.
