The Fantastic Four is rumored to make their MCU debut in Ant-Man 3 with it said John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are the favorites for the roles of Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman.

The rumor comes from Mikey Sutton who has been spewing rumors left and right as of late, including that Wolverine vs Hulk movie.

MCU Fantastic Four rumors:

Regarding the MCU version of the Fantastic Four, it’s claimed that the plans for the team are far different than any previous interpretations.

It’s said that rather than a team of simply superheroes, the MCU Fantastic Four will be a family of explorers.

It’s claimed the first solo Fantastic Four movie will feature the family traveling through strange lands, worlds, and dimensions and that Mole Man will be the villain.

According to the rumor, the FF origin will also be tweaked as they will get their powers while on a journey to the Negative Zone.

It’s also said the Negative Zone in the MCU may or may not be a part of a pocket dimension within the Quantum Zone.

The rumor says the official introduction of the Fantastic Four will happen in the upcoming Ant-Man 3 movie, which was recently announced.

Worth a mention is that Sutton said Ant-Man 3 wasn’t going to happen and that it would be made into a Disney Plus series, so who knows if this latest information is legit.

It’s also again said Marvel has huge plans for Fantastic Four related characters including Doctor Doom, Silver Surfer, and Galactus.

Additional rumors include that Spider-Man will try to join the Fantastic Four, and that eventually, Peter Parker will become the new protege to Reed Richards.

Regarding the fan-favorite choices to play Mr. Fantastic and Invisible Woman, it’s said John Krasinski and Emily Blunt are still at the top of Marvel’s list (Emily Blunt recently confirmed talking to Marvel).

It’s also said everything is in really early development and that there are plans for the Fantastic Four to meet the rebooted Inhumans in a sequel.

Earlier rumors also saw it said that Annihilus and an Annihilation movie would be set between Marvel Phase 4 and Phase 6, and that Doctor Doom would be involved in a big Secret Wars movie in something similar in scope to The Avengers: Endgame.

I was also told last Summer while at Comic-Con by a Marvel insider about the FF’s origin in that they have always been a part of the MCU as they will be shown as existing in the past alongside Michael Douglas’ Hank Pym and Michelle Pfeiffer’s Wasp, but then they get trapped in the Negative Zone where time takes place differently and they reemerge in the present unaged (there is also a rumor Avengers Tower will become the Baxter Building).
