Game of Thrones’ Finn Jones Rumored For Iron Fist

Update: Ew.com reports Jones has landed the role.

It’s being said Finn Jones, known for playing Loras Tyrell in Game Of Thrones, might be playing Iron Fist in the Marvel Netflix series.

The info comes from That Hashtag Show YouTube channel.

While it’s presently unknown if the rumor is true, Mike Colter, who plays Luke Cage, did reveal about a month ago that Marvel and Netflix have cast Iron Fist.

No premiere date has been set for Iron Fist as of yet.

Watch: Daredevil Season 2 Trailer #2

Marvel and Netflix released a second full trailer for Season 2 of Daredevil, which can be watched above.

“Daredevil” Season 2 premiers March 18th on Netflix starring (Matt Murdock/Daredevil), Jon Berntha (Frank Castle), Elodie Yung (Elektra), Deborah Ann Woll (Karen Page) and Elden Henson (Foggy Nelson).

Synopsis:

A Comic Book Movie user recently attended Wizard World Portland where Elizabeth Henstridge, who plays Simmons, revealed that Brett Dalton’s character is actually Hive.

“Watching him play Hive is interesting,” Henstridge said. “He has the memories of the people he has killed.”

The character of Hive in the Marvel comics is described as:

Created in the Hydra laboratories in their home base of Gehenna, the Hive was an experiment made to physically embody the Hydra ideal. The entity is composed of untold numbers of genetically-engineered parasites. An unknown and unwitting Hydra agent was offered/fed to these parasites as a host around which they could merge into a singular being. Grotesque and menacing in both stature and appearance the Hive had no identity of its own, per se, as its collective will dominates the human host it engulfs; however, it possesses a quiet and cunning intelligence and as a result of its conditioning is completely dedicated to the Hydra…

Also said to be a Hydra figurehead.

Watch: Zoom’s Identity Revealed In The Flash (Spoilers)

Tonight on The Flash saw the identity of Zoom revealed. You can watch the clip above.

My pick for Zoom happened to be Barry’s dad, played by original Flash, John Wesley Shipp; however, that isn’t the case.

Interestingly enough, if you go back and watch previous episodes, I believe you will notice the character in question wears black a lot of the times – Jay Garrick. However, it’s not the same Jay Garrick, as Zoom killed him last episode.

Yep. Earth-1 Jay Garrick – Hunter Zolomon – is Zoom.

The bad news? We have to wait a month until the next episode as The Flash goes on hiatus until March 22nd. Grant Gustin isn’t happy about it, either (watch the preview for the next episode here).

EP executive producer also told EW.com the following:

“Zoom’s identity has been revealed: He is Hunter Zolomon, a.k.a Jay Garrick,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg tells EW. “How all of that plays out and what’s actually happening, we’ll leave for after the break.”

“But we wanted to go out on this run of episodes with a big reveal, just the same way we did at the end of episode 9 in season 1, where we revealed that Harrison Wells was the man in the yellow suit. Zoom’s identity is finally revealed.”

“It’s an even larger betrayal than last year in some ways, because they’re all going to feel like they should’ve been inoculated against it,” Kreisberg says. “Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me.”

New Punisher Poster & Jon Bernthal Talks Daredevil

In addition to the new character promo, Marvel has debuted a new Jon Bernthal Punisher poster and interview for Daredevil Season 2.

I think that another part is really trying to empathize and try to understand through every avenue that’s made available to you what it means to be a veteran of war and to see real war combat. This is a character that’s extremely important to the military and extremely important to members of law enforcement. This character, he means a lot to a lot of people. So there were a lot of days, in Brooklyn, when I first got there, [where I’d] be putting on fifty, sixty pound weights on my back and just walking back and forth over the Brooklyn Bridge, talking to myself. My own little crazy ways of getting into the character. This is a real responsibility and a real honor for me, and I just hope [with] all the hard work, that we got some of it right.

A big part of Matt Murdock is he needs to be one very bad day away from being Frank Castle. That’s the crux of their conflict: “You don’t know what I’ve been through. You don’t know what I’m all about. Get out of my way.” And this sort of concern for the greater good is something that I think is secondary to this man at this point. What’s interesting is you find these two characters that are so alike and so different and then when they collide, they just learn from each other.

Vanessa Hudgens To Star In DC “Powerless” Comedy

The new NBC DC Comics comedy series Powerless has cast Vanessa Hudgens as its star.

Hudgens will play Emily Locke, described by The Wrap as an insurance claims adjuster who loves her job because she gets to help people; Emily likes to fly under the radar and just get her work done. She finds herself increasingly exasperated by the disruptive antics of the various superheroes in her city.

Powerless has previously been described as a workplace comedy set at one of the worst insurance companies in America — with the twist being that it also takes place in the universe of DC Comics. It’s was also previously said the focus of the series is on the ordinary, “power-less” folk working at the insurance company who often envy the men and women outside their window who make headlines with their supernatural powers.

Vanessa Hudgens is known for Highschool Musical, Spring Breakers and recently starred as Rizzo in Fox’s Grease Live musical.

Doctor Who Coming To Amazon Prime

The BBC recently removed Doctor Who from Netflix and Hulu, and while it was thought the BBC might have been launching their own streaming service, it’s now become known the new home of The Doctor is at Amazon.

In a tweet that has since been deleted for some reason, Amazon announced Doctor Who series 1-8 will be available to stream through Amazon Prime in March.

“Want to know the future? Now you can! Here’s what’s coming to #PrimeVideo in March. #Bosch #DrWho,” the tweet said, which was accompanied by a video (watch below) teasing other titles coming to Amazon Prime next month: season two of Bosch, season three of Orphan Black, the original Ghostbusters movie, and The End of the Tour.

Doctor Who is currently available on Netflix across the pond, but will be removed in May. It’s unknown if Doctor Who will continue through Netflix in the UK or move on to Amazon Prime.

New Doctor Who episodes aren’t set to be released until 2017, so March can’t get here fast enought for Whovians.

The synopsis for the new ABC Marvel series, Marvel’s Most Wanted, has been released.

The series is a spinoff of Marvel’s Agents Of SHIELD starring Adrianne Palicki as Bobbie Morse, aka Mockingbird, and Nick Blood as Lance Hunter.

Centers on Bobbi Morse (a.k.a. Mockingbird) and Lance Hunter of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., two ex-spies and ex-spouses who are on the run with no friends, no S.H.I.E.L.D. and a long list of enemies looking to claim a bounty on their heads. Lobo Teased In New Supergirl Promo

Synopsis:

In season four of “Marvel’s Ultimate Spider-Man vs. The Sinister 6,” a confident Spider-Man feels like the ultimate hero after fighting alongside The Avengers and leading a team of heroes at S.H.I.E.L.D. Academy. However, when the wall-crawler discovers that his greatest enemies – Doctor Octopus, Hydra and the all-new Sinister 6 – are working together to destroy him and S.H.I.E.L.D., he teams up with a special new team of Spiders including Miles Morales, Agent Venom, Iron Spider and the mysterious new Scarlet Spider. Spider-Man and his new friends will need to use all of their power to overcome their greatest challenge yet.
