Andrew Lincoln Rumored To Want Out Of The Walking Dead

Could we see a Rick Grimes Walker?

According to a report by the gossip magazine OK! that's exactly what may happen by the end of the season.

An article in the latest issue of the magazine is stating Andrew Lincoln wants out of The Walking Dead because he is tired of keeping his family away from England.

Andrew Lincoln, who plays deputy Rick Grimes, wants to be zombie feed! His rep denies it, but our sources are reporting that the actor is tired of dragging his wife and two kids from their native England to Georgia where the show shoots, so he is planning his exit.

As noted, Lincoln's reps have denied the claim and have even reached out to a separate gossip site, Gossip Cop, to deny the notion.

Guess we'll find out soon enough as The Walking Dead Season 6 returns next month.

Synopsis:

Fear The Walking Dead is described as a gritty drama living in the same universe as The Walking Dead that explores the onset of the undead apocalypse through the lens of a fractured family. Set in a city where people come to escape, shield secrets, and bury their pasts, a mysterious outbreak threatens to disrupt what little stability high school guidance counselor Madison Clark and English teacher Travis Manawa have managed to assemble. The everyday pressure of blending two families while dealing with resentful, escapist, and strung out children takes a back seat when society begins to break down. A forced evolution, a necessary survival of the fittest takes hold, and our dysfunctional family must either reinvent themselves or embrace their darker histories.

Watch: The Driving Dead Episode 4 With Michael Rooker

Actor Michael Rooker returns to his starring role in The Driving Dead Series with a new webisode, “The Chase,” premiering today.

The Driving Dead Series launched in August 2014 by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) to thwart dangerous driving behaviors, like drinking and driving and failure to wear a seat belt, among the most at-risk audience – young men. According to recent IDOT data, seat belt usage in Illinois reached an all-time high of more than 95 percent in 2015. This marks an increase over last year representing an estimated 377 lives saved on Illinois roads.

The web-based Driving Dead Series has amassed more than 2.4 million YouTube views with its first three episodes. Rooker, renowned for his roles in Marvel’s, Guardians of the Galaxy, and AMC’s, The Walking Dead, has been involved with the series from its inception.

“Years ago, I lost my brother to a seat belt related traffic fatality, so this series is extremely close to my heart,” said Rooker. “It is my sincerest hope that my fans will watch and share these videos, and that by doing so, we can make people think twice before engaging in any kind of dangerous driving behavior.

The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land Mobile Game Trailer

Next Games, the Finnish mobile games studio, and AMC today revealed the first gameplay trailer and key details of the official mobile game based on AMC’s record-breaking hit TV show The Walking Dead.

The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land, an action-packed strategy game, will allow players to experience the world of the iconic TV series with its spine-chilling moments through gameplay tailored for touch screen devices.

The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land is centered around surviving in a hostile, post-apocalyptic world, fighting the walker menace and making tough choices about the fate of the player’s survivor group. During the course of the game, players will need to choose the right people with the right skills and weapons to take down walkers, survive missions and save other survivors. A recurring theme of choosing the best survival strategy and making the right tactical choices is at the heart of the game.

Daryl Dixon, the crossbow-toting, fan-favorite character, portrayed by actor Norman Reedus in the TV series, helps the player get established in the game and guides players in the final points of survival and combat with the undead. Danger is everywhere, as fans face hordes of walkers in locations familiar from the TV show.

The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land is devotedly crafted for ‘The Walking Dead’ fans. We are very excited about the momentous opportunity to bring one of the most adored TV shows into the mobile realm in collaboration with our partner AMC, the creators of the TV series,” said Teemu Huuhtanen, CEO at Next Games. “We combine IP, TV show talent and join forces with AMC in a never-seen-before way. This game is a big first step in Next Games’ strategy to become the premier partner for TV networks, movie studios and beyond who aspire to work with a veteran game studio in extending their IP into mobile games.”

The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land has the thrill of hand-to-hand walker combat, but players also get the opportunity to solve strategic puzzles, build their own survival refuge and develop their group,” said Mac McKean, senior vice president of digital media for AMC and SundanceTV. “It’s a beautifully rendered, thoughtful and engaging mobile game, and we’re so pleased with what our partners at Next Games have created. We’re looking forward to giving fans an exciting new way to engage with the world of The Walking Dead.”

AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” the highest rated basic cable program in the history of television and the #1 show on TV in the U.S. among adults 18-49 for three years in a row, will kick off its sixth season on Sunday, October 11th at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT with an extended 90-minute episode.

The Walking Dead: No Man’s Land game is slated for launch on iPhone, iPad amd iPod touch in conjunction with season 6 of The Walking Dead this October.

Comic Characters Join The Walking Dead Season 6

The Walking Dead Season 6 Comic-Con Trailer

The Walking Dead Season 6 will feature three new characters.

EW.com debuted the following images of Ethan Embry as Carter, Merritt Wever as Dr. Denise Cloyd, and Corey Hawkins as Heath.

Carter is described as: “Gimple says Carter serves as a composite of different people from the original comic. ‘Ethan plays a combo of a few characters that we actually haven’t hit yet or weren’t able to hit in other characters,’ says Gimple. ‘He is an Alexandrian, and has been there the whole time, just quite busy.’

Wever’s Dr. Cloyd is from the comics described as: “Denise’s role as a medic becomes critical in the community of Alexandria after the death of Pete, and in the comic her skills as a surgeon prove pivotal, especially after a ghastly injury incurred by one of the main characters—an injury which may or may not happen on the TV version.”

Corey Hawkins is from the comic as well and is described as: a supply-runner for the town (and one who becomes romantically linked to Denise in the original source material), but we’ve got an exclusive new photo for you above. Gimple had this to tell EW about Hawkins in the role: “He’s terrific and I’m so excited to see him bring Heath to life. It’s been fun and he dove in with both feet. He’s tough and skeptical when the cameras are rolling, and then when they’re off he’s just like a goofy fan. He’s really, really excited to be there.”

Synopsis:

Outcast follows Kyle Barnes, a young man who has been plagued by demonic possession all his life. Now, with the help of the Reverend Anderson, a preacher with personal demons of his own, Kyle embarks on a journey to find answers and regain the normal life he lost. But what Kyle discovers could change his fate — and the fate of the world — forever.

Patrick Fugit (“Gone Girl”) stars as Barnes, a man searching for answers, and for redemption, who sequesters himself from those he loves for fear of causing greater hurt. Philip Glenister (“Life on Mars”) stars as Reverend Anderson, a West Virginia evangelist who believes he is a soldier in God’s holy war against the forces of evil on Earth. An inveterate drinker and gambler, he doesn’t believe God intends people to sweat the small stuff. Gabriel Bateman (“Stalker”) stars as Joshua Austin, an eight-year-old who lives across town from Kyle. Robert Kirkman Missing Comic-Con; Wants Deadpool Trailer Leaked

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:21255:]]

Robert Kirkman will not be attending this week’s Comic-Con in San Diego.

Following not being able to attend the recent Image Expo last week, Kirkman let it be known he also won’t be at the SDCC due to throat surgery.

“Unfortunately, after years and years of being healthier than my physique would indicate I had to have minor surgery on my throat,” Kirkman posted on Skybound.com. “Nothing serious, but in the aftermath of such a fun experience, it comes with a brief duration of time where I’m unable to speak so all that pink business inside me can heal. As luck would have it, that period of time overlaps with Comic-Con.”

Two panels for The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead are scheduled for this Friday at Comic-Con, and Kirkman was scheduled to attend Skybound panels as well.

Kirkman notes it will be his first time missing Comic-Con in ten years, but looks forward to next year and hopes to see the new Deadpool trailer in some  form.

“This is the first Comic-Con I’m missing in well over a decade. While I’m bummed that I can’t be there, there’s nothing keeping you from enjoying all the fun events… I plan on making my triumphant Comic-Con return next year, you’ve been warned. Until then I’ll just be catching up on work and eating a lot of ice cream. So go to a panel, buy an overpriced hotdog, and think of me when you’re buying Transformer toys. I wish you all a fun and safe Comic-Con. Someone please be sure to bootleg the Deadpool trailer for me!”

Check out the Comic-Con banner poster AMC has released for The Walking Dead which looks to suggest warring factions in Alexandria for Season 6.

The series returns this October to AMC.
