Marvel D23: Thunderbolts? Fantastic Four? Deadpool 3?

Recently saw it said that Florence Pugh will be the lead in Thunderbolts and that the flick is Marvel’s answer to Suicide Squad.

Tons of rumors have been said about the casting of Fantastic Four, which has WandaVision‘s Matt Shakman directing.

No Deadpool 3 announcement was made at Comic-Con, so it is thought Kevin Feige is saving it for this weekend, which will see a release date announcement (Reynolds also used Deadpool in a teaser for his new FX series).

The Shang-Chi sequel was first announced last December, and at Comic-Con saw the big announcement about Shang-Chi director Destin Daniel Cretton directing Avengers: The Kang Dynasty, so maybe Feige is saving Shang-Chi 2 for the D23 Expo as well.

A Wonder Man series is in development for Disney Plus where it has been suggested Henry Cavill could play the part.

Nova is also said to be in development and let’s hope Kevin Feige doesn’t go further woke and replace Richard Rider like the comic books did that didn’t sell and no one liked.

Okoye could be announced at the D23 by Marvel as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever gets released next month. Speaking of, Black Panther 2 will certainly be promoted this weekend.

The Halloween special is referring to Werewolf By Night which is supposed to be released this October, just a month away, so Marvel better start doing something, right?

Echo spins out of Hawkeye where it’s been said both Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio will next appear, so if something happens for Echo at the D23, the news follows Comic-Con’s big announcement about Daredevil: Born Again.

The Marvels, the sequel to Captain Marvel, is less than a year away so some sort of tease could be possible which would follow that Brie Larson post-credit scene in Ms. Marvel. Speaking of, Brie Larson has really been active on social media.

Secret Invasion is thought to be released Spring 2023 and is expected to be Marvel’s biggest series on Disney Plus to date, so some sort of teaser would be welcomed by the fans especially following the Comic-Con teaser. Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury also gets an exclusive NYCC Funko POP.

The Disney D23 Expo takes place September 9-11 with the Marvel Studios panel held on Saturday starting at 1pm EST.

“Welcome all multiversal, intergalactic, and world-spanning adventurers as Marvel Studios, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Studios preview upcoming titles, including sneak peeks and special guests,” states the official panel description.
