The Captain Marvel trailer is now online offering a first look at footage from the movie, which includes Brie Larson as the titular character, Carol Danvers, an accomplished Air Force pilot.
Details for the movie include that the film starts out with Carol Danvers already out in space as part of the Kree military team known as Starforce, whose members also include Mar-vell, Korath and Minn-Erva.
Carol Danvers gets involved in a galactic war between the Kree and the Skrulls, with the Earth caught in the middle, which the Captain Marvel trailer teases.
Ben Mendolsohn plays both the leader of the Skrulls with Talos, as well as his human form revealed as a part of SHIELD.
Both Samuel L. Jackson’s Nick Fury and Clark Gregg’s Phil Coulson are low-level SHIELD agents as well.
Ronan is also featured in the movie as still being a high-ranking member of Kree society.

Captain Marvel has a March 8, 2019 release directed by the writing/directing team of Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck and stars Academy Award winner Brie Larson, Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Algenis Perez Soto, Rune Temte, McKenna Grace, with Clark Gregg, and Jude Law.
Captain Marvel follows Carol Danvers as she becomes one of the universe’s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races. Set in the 1990s, the film is an all-new adventure from a previously unseen period in the history of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
