The Witcher Leaks Show Off Liam Hemsworth & Laurence Fishburne

A batch of set images from the final season of Netflix’s The Witcher have landed online, which show off Liam Hemsworth, Laurence Fishburne, and more.

Hemsworth has replaced Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia as of The Witcher Season 4, as seasons four and five are filming back-to-back.

Fishburne plays Emiel Regis described in the books as being a formidable higher vampire who is more than four hundred years old by the time he crossed paths with Geralt of Rivia. In the series the character is described as a world-wise Barber-surgeon with a mysterious past who joins Geralt on his journey.

Pics also include Eamon Farren as Cahir, Meng’er Zhang as Milva, Joey Batey as Jaskier, and Gareth David-Lloyd who might be playing Reynard Odo.

Liam Hemsworth and Laurence Fishburne Talk Joining The Witcher as Henry Cavill Moves On

“I’m very excited to be joining the cast and look forward to exploring the wondrous world of The Witcher,” Fishburne said in a statement at the time he was cast.

Regarding Liam Hemsworth, the official first look for The Witcher Season 4 was released in May.

“His look has been in development for over a year, so it’s thrilling to finally share an official sneak peek of Liam Hemsworth as Geralt of Rivia,” showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich said.

“As a Witcher fan I’m over the moon about the opportunity to play Geralt of Rivia. Henry Cavill has been an incredible Geralt, and I’m honored that he’s handing me the reins and allowing me to take up the White Wolf’s blades for the next chapter of his adventure,” said Hemsworth, following the departure of Henry Cavill.

Henry is now with Amazon Studios, where he is developing his Warhammer live-action universe, and Cavill also recently filmed the live-action Voltron. The Highlander movie is also now at Amazon. Cavill also returns as Sherlock Holmes in Netflix’s Enola Holmes 3.

When does The Witcher Season 4 premiere on Netflix?

Netflix has yet to make an official announcement when The Witcher Season 4 will start streaming, but it’s speculated to premiere this summer.
