Wednesday Season 3 Reveals First Look At Jenna Ortega In Paris

Wednesday Season 3 has released its first look at Jenna Ortega as the Addams Family favorite, with Netflix showing the titular character standing in front of the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.

The image comes with the caption, “From Paris, with dread. De Paris, avec effroi.” In French, “effroi” can also translate to fear, which fits the series and Wednesday’s usual vibe.

Wednesday heads to Paris for Season 3

The new image confirms Wednesday Season 3 has added Paris to production. That is an interesting move for the Netflix series, as Nevermore Academy is set in Jericho, Vermont.

Production is primarily based in Ireland, so filming in France makes sense from a practical standpoint. Story-wise, however, Netflix is keeping things quiet. The reason Wednesday is in Paris has not been revealed.

That has already led to fan speculation. One theory is that it could connect to Enid following the events of her werewolf transformation, but for now, that is only a guess.

Season 3 started production in Ireland

Wednesday Season 3 began production in Ireland at the end of February 2026. Along with the return of Jenna Ortega, Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia Addams, and Luis Guzmán as Gomez Addams, the new season has added several names to the cast.

Winona Ryder has joined as Tabitha. Noah Taylor is playing Cyrus. Oscar Morgan will portray Atticus, and Kennedy Moyer will play Daisy. Chris Sarandon is also part of the season as Balthazar.

Eva Green and more join the Addams chaos

Eva Green has also joined Wednesday Season 3 and will play Ophelia, the sister of Morticia Addams.

Joanna Lumley, who plays Grandmama Hester Frump, has been promoted to series regular status. At the same time, Noah B. Taylor, who played Bruno in Season 2, has exited the series.

Earlier this month, Netflix also announced Lena Headey, Andrew McCarthy, and James Lance as guest stars.

Wednesday Season 3 Release Info

Netflix has not announced a release date yet, but Wednesday Season 3 is not expected to premiere until 2027.

For now, the first image of Jenna Ortega in Paris gives fans their first real tease of where the next chapter may be heading, and it looks like Wednesday is taking her dread international.
