Pop Culture Jeopardy, Netflix released the trailer for Season 2, confirming Colin Jost is back as host as the game show spinoff makes its move from Amazon to its new streaming home.
The trailer leans right into the streamer switch, with Jost joking, “Our first season was on Amazon, our second is on Netflix, and if this doesn’t work, I’ll be doing a third season on OnlyFans.”
Colin Jost Returns For Season 2
Jost hosts the new season from the Alex Trebek Stage, where contestants once again compete in teams and test their knowledge across pop culture categories.
The format keeps the classic Jeopardy! “answer-and-question” setup but shifts the focus to TV, movies, music, internet culture, celebrities, and viral moments.
In the trailer, Jost introduces categories and jokes with players as they buzz in on topics ranging from AI slop to Real Housewives.

Trailer Shows Off The Categories
The Pop Culture Jeopardy trailer gives a taste of what Season 2 will cover, including categories such as “Get to the choppa!” and one built around “6-7.”
One clue in the trailer leads to “What is rage bait?” while another moment brings up “Jesus Jugs” from Real Housewives.
Another contestant answers “Free shavacado,” which turns out to be the Daily Double.
Jost also jokes that the players hope their “debilitating addiction to screen time” will finally pay off.
Netflix Picks Up The Jeopardy Spinoff
Pop Culture Jeopardy moving to Netflix marks a new chapter for the Sony Pictures Television game show spinoff.
Season 1 launched on Amazon as part of its game show push. Season 2 now arrives on Netflix, giving the streamer another established format tied to a major TV brand.
The series comes from Sony Pictures Television’s Game Show Division, with Jeopardy! showrunner Michael Davies serving as executive producer.

How The Game Works
Unlike regular Jeopardy!, Pop Culture Jeopardy has contestants play in teams of three.
The teams compete in a tournament-style event for a grand prize and bragging rights. The show keeps the Jeopardy! structure but replaces academic trivia with questions tied to entertainment and internet culture.
When Does Pop Culture Jeopardy Season 2 Premiere?
Pop Culture Jeopardy Season 2 streams weekdays starting May 11th on Netflix.
