More teaser images have been posted to the wponx Instagram account for the third Wolverine movie, Logan.
While it’s hard to make anything out from the first image, the second image features actor Boyd Holbrook along with “Pierce.”
The “Pierce” in question looks to be X-Men supervillain Donald Pierce.
In the Marvel comics, Donald Pierce is a half cyborg who hates mutants and is the leader of the Reavers, a group of cyborgs dedicated to exterminating mutantkind. Fans of the X-Men comics will remember the Reavers are responsible for the following iconic image cover (see below).
“Logan” has a March 3, 2017 release directed by James Mangold starring Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Stephen Merchant, Doris Morgado and Eriq La Salle.
