Sony has announced its next State of Play, and Marvel’s Wolverine is kicking things off.
The new PlayStation presentation will stream Tuesday, June 2, with more than 60 minutes of PS5 news, announcements, and gameplay reveals from studios around the world.
The big draw for Marvel fans is Insomniac Games’ Marvel’s Wolverine, which will open the show with a new look at Logan’s upcoming PS5 game.

Marvel’s Wolverine Kicks Off State Of Play
According to Sony, State of Play will begin with a closer look at Marvel’s Wolverine, the third-person action-adventure game from Insomniac Games.
The presentation will show more of Logan’s “brutal and relentless combat” and include new details about the game.
Marvel’s Wolverine launches September 15, 2026, exclusively for PlayStation 5.
The game comes from Insomniac Games, the studio behind Marvel’s Spider-Man, Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, and Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.
Sony previously confirmed Marvel’s Wolverine follows Logan as he searches for answers about his past. The game is described as an all-new take on the Marvel Comics character, with Wolverine cutting through the mystery of the man he used to be.

When To Watch State Of Play
Sony’s State of Play airs Tuesday, June 2.
The broadcast starts at: 2:00 p.m. PT / 5:00 p.m. ET / 11:00 p.m. CEST / 6:00 a.m. JST on June 3.
Fans can watch the stream live on YouTube and Twitch. Sony says the broadcast will be in English, with Japanese subtitles also available.

Alamo Drafthouse Hosting Watch Parties
Sony also announced special State of Play watch party screenings at Alamo Drafthouse locations in the United States.
Tickets are free but limited, with viewings planned for:
- Raleigh
- Los Angeles
- San Francisco Bay Area
- Chicago
- Dallas/Fort Worth
- New York City
Tickets are available through Alamo Drafthouse starting today at 6:00 a.m. PT.

Sony Issues Co-Streaming Warning
Sony also included a note for co-streamers and creators.
The company says the broadcast may include copyrighted content, such as licensed music, which Sony Interactive Entertainment does not control. Sony says licensing agreements could interfere with co-streams or VOD archives.
For creators planning recap videos or reposted clips, Sony advises omitting any copyrighted music from the broadcast.
