Flash Easter Egg Hints At Green Lantern, Nightwing, Starman & More

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:22583:]]

Check out an Easter Egg spotted on the set of The Flash which features various cities time zones.

We see mention of Bludhaven, a home to Nightwing; Midway City, a home to Hawkman and Hawkgirl – both of whom will be appearing in DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow; Starling City, home to Arrow’s Oliver Queen; Central City, home to The Flash; Coast City, home to Green Lantern (which has been teased before), and we also see Opal city, the home of Starman.

It’s interesting to note that the two most wel-known cities in the DC univers are not listed with Gotham City (Batman) and Metropolis (Superman), which are most likely off limits to The Flash and Arrow, but that may change if the CBS Supergirl TV series ever connects with them.

Important times to know on display at Picture News on the set of #TheFlash.

Robbie Amell Teases Return To Firestorm

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:22575:]]

When DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow was first announced, it was learned Robbie Amell would not be a part of the spinoff series.

This Season on The Flash also saw Robbie Amell’s character, Ronnie Raymond, seemingly killed off, with the new Firestorm teased for next week’s episode.

Now it appears as if Robbie Amell’s flame is not about burn out as the actor has taken to Instagram to tease a return.

“Firestorm is in great hands,” Amell posted along with a side-by-side pic of himself with new Firestorm Franz Drameh. “But I’ll be back.”

Amell is appearing in the X-Files relaunch, so it’s possible the actor took some time off to film that show, which sees its debut in January.

Starz Holding Evil Dead Marathon Hosted By Bruce Campbell

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:22546:]]

Setting the stage for the premiere of the highly anticipated STARZ Original series Ash vs Evil Dead, Starz presents a marathon of the cult classic Evil Dead horror franchise on Friday, October 30 beginning at 8:00pm ET/PT hosted by Evil Dead star Bruce Campbell (Ash). The marathon will conclude with a sneak peek of the first episode of Ash vs Evil Dead at 12:15 a.m. ET/PT.

The Evil Dead marathon kicks off with the original 1981 cult classic, The Evil Dead at 8:00pm ET/PT on STARZ. This seminal horror movie features five friends who go to a cabin in the woods where they find unspeakable evil lurking in the forest. They discover the Necronomicon, the Book of the Dead, which when translated releases a legion of demons and spirits. In order to survive the night, Ash must do battle with the evil dead.

The marathon continues with the 1987 sequel, Evil Dead 2 at 9:30pm ET/PT. Ash, the lone survivor of the original demon attack, returns in the second chapter of the cult franchise. Armed with a chainsaw and a shotgun, he again must fight the evil dead when a group of strangers interrupt his romantic vacation in a lonely cabin in the woods.

The Evil Dead marathon concludes with the 1992 third installment, Army of Darkness at 10:55pm ET/PT and a sneak peek at the first episode of the STARZ Original series “Ash vs Evil Dead.” In Army of Darkness, our hero, Ash, is transported back in time to 1300 A.D. and once again faces off against the evil unleashed. In order to return to the present and get back home, he must take up his chainsaw and “boomstick” to defeat the Deadites and return the Necronomicon to its final resting place.

Fans will be encouraged to join the social media conversations throughout the night using #EvilDeadMarathon and other scene-specific hashtags that will appear within each movie.

For fans that can’t wait for the marathon, The Evil Dead is currently available on STARZ, STARZ PLAY and STARZ ON DEMAND and Evil Dead 2 will be available on STARZ PLAY and STARZ ON DEMAND from October 26 through October 30. Army of Darkness will be available on STARZ, STARZ PLAY and STARZ ON DEMAND beginning November 1. Ash vs Evil Dead, the long-awaited STARZ original series and follow-up to the classic horror movie franchise The Evil Dead, premieres on Halloween, Saturday, October 31 at 9:00pm ET/PT. The series is executive produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, and Bruce Campbell, the original filmmakers of the franchise, and Craig DiGregorio who serves as executive producer and showrunner.

Campbell reprises his role as Ash, the stock boy, aging lothario and chainsaw-handed monster hunter who has spent the last 30 years avoiding responsibility, maturity and the terrors of the Evil Dead. When a Deadite plague threatens to destroy all of mankind, Ash is finally forced to face his demons – personal and literal. Destiny, it turns out, has no plans to release the unlikely hero from its “Evil” grip.

The cast is led by Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, “Burn Notice”) in the role of Ash Williams; Lucy Lawless (“Salem,” “Spartacus”) as Ruby a mysterious figure who believes Ash is the cause of the Evil outbreaks; Ray Santiago (“Touch,” Meet the Fockers) as Pablo Simon Bolivar, an idealistic immigrant who becomes Ash’s loyal sidekick; Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar 3D Christmas) as Kelly Maxwell, a moody wild child trying to outrun her past; and Jill Marie Jones (“Sleepy Hollow”) as Amanda Fisher, a disgraced Michigan State Trooper set to find our anti-hero Ash and prove his responsibility in the grisly murder of her partner.

Raimi directed the first episode of Ash vs Evil Dead that he wrote with Ivan Raimi (DarkmanArmy of DarknessDrag Me to Hell), and Tom Spezialy (“Chuck,” “Reaper,” “Desperate Housewives”). Watch: Controversial Gotham Slap Scene Featuring Alfred Hitting Selina

Did Selina deserve it?

Posted by Gotham on Sunday, October 18, 2015

FOX TV has posted a clip from Gotham Season 2 featuring Sean Pertwee’s Alfred hitting Camren Bicondova’s Selina Kyle, asking “Did Selina deserve it,” which has stirred up a bit of controversy.

The video, posted three hours ago, has already been viewed over 60,000 times and has amassed over 300 shares, 3000 likes and over 600 comments.

At issue is the fact that Alfred – a grown man – hit a young girl.

Various comments range from “assault on an under age girl. He should be arrested” to “I couldn’t believe he did that and it wasn’t right” to “No! First scene that I didn’t like with Gotham.”

It probably should be noted the scene was supposed to feature a slap — and not a punch (which the sound effects make it more out to be). We do see Selina wasn’t marked or really phased by the strike, so it’s safe to assume it was a slap.

As other fans mention, maybe Selina did deserve it as she was responsible for the death of Reggie; however, Aflred apparently didn’t have all the info and still comes out as the bad guy.

“No. She saved Master Bruce’s life but Alfred didn’t know all the facts,” a fan stated.

Still another fan added: “No! What she did to Reggie was wrong, but Selena care more about Bruce as much as Alfred does! Alfred needs to know all the facts first! Though he would be against it, Selena would do anything for Bruce — even kill for him! That is why Selena/future Catwoman is the one great and true love of Bruce/future Batman: they share the same ‘dark side’. Sounds a little like Jim/Barbara, don’t you think?”
