Obvious SPOILERS follow for Batman Vs. Superman.
Note: It’s already been announced numerous times that Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher are going to appear in the movie, so that part is not a spoiler.
That said, now let’s discuss the Aquaman, Flash and Cyborg cameos.
Lex Luthor has a file on metahumans that contains info on Wonder Woman, The Flash, Cyborg and Aquaman. Bruce Wayne tries to steal it, but Diana Prince ends up stealing Batman’s device first; however, she can’t break the encryption, so she ends up giving it back to Bruce Wayne, who uses the Batcave computer to decrypt it. Diana Prince wanted the file because it contains an image of herself from 100 years ago (check out the pic here).
Bruce Wayne ends up giving the file to Diana who looks through it, and that’s where we get the second Flash cameo, Aquaman and Cyborg.
Aquaman
Jason Momoa’s Aquaman cameo wasn’t as good as The Flash or Cyborg. Actually, I wasn’t quite sure what was going on with it, other than the military(?) was investigating a possible downed ship. When the camera (drone?) came to the ship, Aquaman came out of the hole and used his Trident to destroy the camera-drone. Was more referenced in this scene? I may have missed it.
Cyborg
Cyborg’s was pretty wild. We didn’t get that football scene that Zack Snyder was said to have filmed way back in October. I believe Perry and Clark made reference to it a couple times. I’m guessing Ray Fisher may have been involved, but it looks to have gotten cut. Anyway, maybe it had nothing to do with Cyborg, but the scene showed half of Cyborg’s body up on a wall attached to equiment at Star Labs. Was that his father? Some guy was trying to revive him, but initially couldn’t(?). Then he used some sort of tech (Kryptonian?) that bonded to Cyborg and gave him his metal parts. Honestly, I thought it was a larger Tesseract from Avengers (lol). Cool scene. Update: The tech is confirmed as a Mother Box, and Joe Morton plays Silas Stone.
The Flash
Fans have been pretty much upset that Grant Gustin isn’t The Flash in the DCCU. Snyder said some BS about Gustin not fitting in in the Justice League universe. Okay, whatever. I felt Ezra Miller made an impressive debut. He actually had two cameos. He communicated to a sleeping Bruce Wayne that Bruce is right about him all along (Superman? we’re not sure). The Flash tells Bruce that Lois is the key; to watch out for her or something like that. This reminded me a lot of the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game: Lois dies and Superman goes bad. That was the feeling I was getting here.
Regarding The Flash costume (people are already going nuts on our Facebook), the costume was an armored version. I felt The Flash needed the armor to protect him from travelling where ever he was travelling to/from. I also thought maybe this Flash might have the armor to protect himself whenever he goes ultra-fast. The last episode of The Flash TV series saw Trajectory run too fast and disappear, maybe the Ezra Miller Flash was protecting himself from something similar. We also know this probably isn’t the final Flash costume as Zack Snyer teased a different version (at least I think as much).
The Flash Cameo #2
This is another part of the Diana Prince scene where she is watching the Lex file. It shows Barry in a convenient store buying some milk when the store gets robbed. Barry moves as quick as a flash and stops the robbery! What I thought was cool about the scene was that Barry seemed to move faster than the camera. Barry didn’t really “disappear” from camera #1 — he seemed to move too fast that it appeared as if he was in two places at once! Now that’s fast! Zoom who?!
