Stan Lee Films Spider-Man: Homecoming Cameo; Praises Tom Holland

Stan Lee Regrets One Thing About His Deadpool Cameo

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:24416:]]

Spoilers follow for Deadpool.

Stan Lee proves he’s more “The Man” than ever in his latest cameo for the Deadpool movie in which he plays an emcee inside a strip club.

While for some that may not sound like a cameo worthy of the creator of Spider-Man, it is Deadpool we are talking about here, but Stan does regret one thing.

“I wish I had spent more time in the strip club,” Lee told EW.com at The Big Bang Theory’s 200th episode celebration. “They had me in and out too quickly,” Lee joked.

Stan Lee continued with mention about appearing in the Marvel movies.

“If it’s a Marvel movie, I’m there for it,” Stan Lee said. “Whenever a new movie comes out, I hope they’ll have a spot for me. I get such a kick out of doing it. The fans seem to like it. I’m going to tell you a secret, here’s the reason the movies make so much money: My cameo. A man takes a girl to the movie, right? They’re watching the movie and they bend down to get some popcorn. In so doing, they miss my cameo. Now the movie ends, and they say, ‘My God, we missed Stan’s cameo!’ So what do they do? They run to the box office and buy two more tickets and see it again. That’s why the movies do so well, because of my cameos.”

Stan Lee can next be seen in May’s Captain America: Civil War and X-Men: Apocalupse and more than likely will be featured in Doctor Strange; James Gunn has already confirmed and written Stan Lee’s cameo for Guardians of the Galaxy 2 as well.

Watch: Is An Avengers Star Wars Crossover Possible & Trailer

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:24168:]]

Is a Marvel Avengers and Star Wars crossover possible?!

Well, Stan Lee thinks so.

Stan “The Man” Lee previously stated he thought it would be hugely successful and even offered Spider-Man could use The Force.

Now a pair of YouTubers gets it on the fun as the Alex Luthor channel has put together a cool Avengers and Star Wars mash-up trailer.

The Mr. Sunday Movies Youtube channel also goes over the possibility of Avengers and Star Wars.

Stan Lee Talks Possible Avengers & Star Wars Crossover

[[wysiwyg_imageupload:23875:]]

Strong is The Force with The Avengers?!

Hey, it’s possible, says Stan Lee.

In an interview with The Big Issue, Stan Lee talks about the possibility of The Avengers meeting up with Star Wars.

First Stan Lee remarks on the possibility of all the Marvel characters appearing together (Avengers, X-Men, Guardians of the Galaxy) as some are owned by different studios:

You mean all together in one film? Yeah, probably. It’ll be the most expensive film ever produced! But anything that the public want to see you can be sure it will eventually be produced.

It’s then remarked that Disney owns the rights to The Avengers and Star Wars, and that the public would love for a crossover to happen. Stan throws Spider-Man into the mix as well:

Well, I don’t know how many characters you can have in a movie but obviously the people who produce these things are looking to be as successful as possible. If they feel that incorporating Star Wars with the Marvel characters will be very successful, they’ll find a way to do it. Can you imagine Spider-Man saying: ‘May the force be with you’? It may come to that!

Nothing overwhelms people in the movie or television business. They are always looking for the next great idea.

Stan Lee notes they can take anyone they want and make them an Avenger, even Luke Skywalker.

We did it in the comics. I created the Avengers by taking many of our characters and making a team out of them. We can have as many characters join the Avengers as we want to for future movies. That might be fun too – all of a sudden Luke Skywalker is an Avenger!

How does an Avengers and Star Wars crossover movie on the big screen sound?
