Thanks to the legends like Stan Lee and Jim Starlin, we have movies to look forward to such as next weekâs The Avengers: Infinity War.
While Stan Lee has been the topic of a lot of bad press as of late, we can look forward to a cool cameo next week in The Avengers: Infinity War.
And we have Jim Starlin to thank for Thanos, Drax, Gamora, the Infinity Gems, and the Infinity Gauntlet and Infinity War comics.
The Russo brothers spoke with the BBC about The Avengers: Infinity War movie and gave kudos to both Lee and Starlin:
âHeâs the godfather of a lot of these stories, him and Jack Kirby,â Joe Russo said about Stan Lee. âAnd Jim Starlin, actually, in particular for the character Thanos, the writer who created Thanos.â
Joe Russo also talked about the Stan Lee cameo.
âSo, Stan, typically we try to get him out â he doesnât love to fly â so we try to get him out for his cameos around the same timeâ Russo said. âSo if we have other movies shooting on the same lot that weâre on, for instance Ant-Man [and the Wasp] or Avengers 4, we group his cameos together and then move him from one set to the next and get him through his cameos in one day⊠Heâs great. Heâs a blast to have on set and everybody loves it. And he seems to engender a really warm response from the audience when he comes on the screen.â
