Oscar Isaac is doubling down on his anti-Disney attitude, and this time it’s in public.
A new fan video shows Isaac refusing to sign a Spider-Verse collectible, even though he was happily signing everything else, including what look like posters for his Frankenstein movie.

Isaac Turns Down a Spider-Verse Item
In the clip, a fan politely asks: “Oscar, can I get you on this one, please?”
Isaac looks at the item and responds: “No. I’m not going to sign that.”
The item was a Spider-Verse collectible, tied to Miguel O’Hara, the character Isaac voiced in Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
What’s notable is that Isaac signed every other item the crowd handed him. He only refused the Spider-Verse piece, which is Marvel.

@eladiioenrrique 11/16/2025 – On Sunday, I got a last minute tip that Oscar Isaac was going to be at the Egyptian Theatre, (I know I told you this through DM but thank you again!), (you know who you are lol), so I tried to get him to sign my Spider-Man 2099 Funko Pops along with a Moon Knight Funko and a Spider-Man 2099 mini poster for my sister, of course in the video you only see the pops, but unfortunately Oscar stopped for the kid Grapher to sign Frankenstein items but he didn’t want to sign Marvel items. It was great to see him in person and honestly I don’t blame him at all, it was a long shot especially after hearing that he isn’t on good terms with Disney after that whole Kimmel incident but I was hoping he would sign the merch at least because imo he is still the most badass Miguel O’Hara and Moon Knight out there, he makes both characters, I’m sorry lol. I’m definitely going to get backlash for that lol. But anyways, thought I would share my interaction with him, and if Oscar sees this somehow, Oscar I understand and hopefully one day I can still get your autograph on the Spider-Man 2099 as well as my sister’s mini poster ! Oh and if Disney sees this, please fix things with Oscar, we need him back in marvel, there is no Moon Knight or Spider-Man 2099 without him. #spiderman2099 #OscarIsaac #fyp #Disney #Frankenstein ♬ original sound – eladiioenrrique
Spider-Verse Is Sony… But the Character Is Still Marvel
Technically, the Spider-Verse films are made by Sony, not Disney. However, the character — Spider-Man 2099 / Miguel O’Hara — is Marvel, and the branding is unmistakable.
Given Isaac’s recent comments slamming Disney and saying he’s “not so open to working with Disney” until they “figure it out and not succumb to fascism,” his refusal lines up with those comments.
It seems the actor is avoiding anything Disney-related… and now anything Marvel-branded, too.

Isaac’s Anti-Disney Streak Continues
Just days ago, Isaac told GQ that he’s basically boycotting Disney, a stance that casts doubt on his entire MCU future — especially Moon Knight — which would require direct collaboration with Marvel Studios.
This new incident only reinforces that he wants nothing to do with Disney’s orbit.
Even though Spider-Verse is a Sony project, the Marvel connection was enough for Isaac to say no.
