Godzilla: King of the Monsters Gets PG-13 Rating

Not a surprise by any means, as the upcoming Godzilla: King of the Monsters movie has received a PG-13 rating, which is for “sequences of monster action violence and destruction, and for some language.”

Godzilla: King of the Monsters follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species — thought to be mere myths — rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.

We recently tracked Godzilla as he took a swim by King Ghidorah, and now he seems to be headed to mexico to check on Rodan.

Early test screenings offer the flick is on the right path as well.

“It was really nice. It’s really atmospheric… I’m really satisfied with the route they went,” a fan who saw the movie said. “Acting and cinematography are really nice and even though the effects were not finished and some not even half-finished it looked really great… You are going to like how much of the other creatures you are going to see in this movie (especially Godzilla). For what I saw I’m very pleased and can honestly say it will probably be the most original from this universe and loved every single casting.”

The fan continued: “I feel that the idea of bringing the other monsters and their respective worlds or just stories are going to make this movie really interesting, and from everything I watched it just looked better and more original than your typical Monster movie,”

The movie gets released on May 31, 2019 directed by Michael Dougherty and stars Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Charles Dance, Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Sally Hawkins, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ziyi Zhang, and Ken Watanabe.
