Godzilla Checks On Ghidorah Prior To King of The Monsters

Following having swung by the recent San Diego Comic-Con this past Summer (which saw the release of the new trailer), now Godzilla has checked on the frozen King Ghidora in Antarctica prior to the release of next year’s King of the Monsters.

The Monarch Sciences viral website has been updated, which shows the recent path Godzilla made around the South Pole visiting Monarch Outpost 32 that is keeping tabs on his archnemesis, the frozen King Ghidorah.

The site also keeps tabs on Godzilla’s movements across the globe with its location, heart rate and even radiation output.

Godzilla

Godzilla has also recently passed by Skull Island, which currently houses none other than King Kong, which appears to be setting up their joint movie for 2020. It’s probably safe to assume next year’s kaiju flick will also feature a tease for Godzilla vs. Kong.

If we continue to track Godzilla’s path, it may take him around Antarctica up to China where presently Mothra can be found at the Yunna Rainforest.

From there, the King of the Monsters could continue into the Pacific Ocean to Mexico, where Rodan is housed.

“In a post-Godzilla world, we are declassifying superspecies evidence for the first time and invite everyone to join us in our mission of Titan discovery and defense,” the Monarch website states.

At the website, users can not only track Godzilla, but the Monarch Outposts as well. Currently declassified includes information for King Ghidorah, Mothra and Rodan (see below). Users get a Civilian Operative ID number, which you can enter into each active outpost to unlock new information. Presently, the “Top Secret” information has yet to be unlocked.

Interestingly enough, there are over a dozen other “classified” Monarch Outposts spread around the globe, which we can assume also feature various kaiju.

Here is the latest info on King King Ghidorah, aka Monster Zero, Mothra and Rodan from the site:

Monster Zero – Antarctica

Monster Zero

King Ghidorah

From the Hydra to the Rainbow Serpent, myth was the compass that led us to the resting place of the three-headed Titan. A name, unspoken through millennia of whispered nightmares. A living extinction event, named “the one who is many”. We call it Monster Zero.

Cranial scans reveal a divergent frontal lobe density in the brains of the three heads, denoting each head has disparate levels of cognitive functions, and possibly even independent thought.

TITANUS MOSURA – YUNNAN RAINFOREST, CHINA

Mothra

Monarch Designation: Mothra

Classification: Titanus Mosura

Nature: Unknown

Body Height: 52ft

Wingspan: 803ft

Mothra

From erased Nazca lines to the hidden Temple of the Moth, the name “Mothra” is woven throughout the most secret mythologies of our planet. The folklore and fairy tales tell of a winged creature of blinding light, an angel of the clouds whose god-like luminescence has the power to shatter the sky.

Mothra

When Monarch containment crews discovered the live Titan chrysalis within the Chinese myth site, Dr. Emma Russell was quickly dispatched to closely monitor the creature that lay dormant within it. A quickening sonar pulse suggests the creature is awakening. If she ever emerges from her ancient slumber, a superspecies that once illuminated the sky will be reborn as Mothra.

Titanus Rodan – ISLA DE MONA, MEXICO

Rodan

Monarch Designation: Rodan

Classification: Titanus Rodan

Nature: Bio-Volcanic

Body Height: 154ft

Wingspan: 871ft

Behavior: Destroyer

Range: Worldwide

Rodan

Within a Monarch containment facility atop the active Isla de Mona volcano, a mysterious Titan lies in pyrostasis within the restless magma. The legends speak of it as the “Fire Demon” or “The One Born of Fire”, but a simpler name echoes through the ancient temples of volcanically active regions: “Rodan”.

Because of the extreme temperatures within this particular containment facility, current lab equipment can’t function properly. As a result, thermal heat signatures on the creature are impossible to collect, and Monarch detection crews conducted cardiograms via aerial satellite for life sign detection and verification. Much like the volcano that incubates it, Rodan is alive but dormant.

The movie gets released on May 31, 2019 directed by Michael Dougherty and stars Vera Farmiga, Millie Bobby Brown, Charles Dance, Kyle Chandler, Bradley Whitford, Thomas Middleditch, Sally Hawkins, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Ziyi Zhang, and Ken Watanabe.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters follows the heroic efforts of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch as its members face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species — thought to be mere myths — rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
