Bella Ramsey Wants To Play Spider-Man

Bella Ramsey is opening up about the idea of joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe, even going as far as saying she would like to take on the role of Spider-Man.

In a new interview with Variety, Ramsey was asked if she had ever called Last of Us co-star Pedro Pascal to get her into the MCU, as Pascal currently stars in Fantastic Four.

“I don’t know about that,” Ramsey said. “I could be Spider-Man. Tom Holland did a great job, though. So maybe they do need to make a new [superhero] for me.”

Surprisingly, Ramsey admitted she is relatively new to Marvel movies. The actor revealed that the only MCU-related film she has ever seen was an Andrew Garfield Spider-Man movie just a few months ago. Her thoughts?

“Incredible,” Ramsey said. “I loved it.”

While Ramsey has yet to be attached to a Marvel project, rumors have circulated that the studio may be eyeing her for a role in the upcoming X-Men reboot. Fans have thrown out Rogue.

The actress 21-year-age also fits with Kevin Feige stating he wants to go younger for the X-Men.

Meanwhile, Ramsey’s hit series The Last of Us has experienced some turbulence behind the scenes. Halley Gross, who co-wrote The Last of Us Part II video game and worked as a writer and producer on the HBO series, recently announced her departure. She follows Neil Druckmann, who also stepped away from his creative role in Season 3.
