UPDATE: Demand is already showing as early reports indicate some of the July 29 Amazon Prime Early Access screenings are filling up fast, with certain showings listed as half full or sold out within hours of tickets going live. One format note: Brand New Day will not be playing in IMAX, with Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey holding an exclusive IMAX run through Spider-Man’s opening, the movie is leaning on other premium formats instead, including the new “Shot for ScreenX.”
“Wake up. It’s a Brand New Day.” Tickets for Spider-Man: Brand New Day are officially on sale now, the film’s official account confirmed, and the on-sale comes with a release schedule that gives fans several ways to see it early, starting days before the wide opening.

The Full Spider-Man: Brand New Day Release Schedule
Here’s how the rollout breaks down ahead of the July 31 wide release:
- Wednesday, July 29 — Amazon Prime Early Access screenings: Prime members can see the film two days early in select theaters nationwide, booked through Fandango.
- Thursday, July 30 — Thursday previews: The traditional Thursday-night preview screenings kick off ahead of the Friday opening.
- Premium large formats: Brand New Day is launching CJ 4DPlex’s new “Shot for ScreenX” format, with select scenes expanding onto the auditorium’s side walls for a 270-degree panoramic view — footage the studio shot specifically for ScreenX on set. It’ll also be in Dolby and other premium formats, but not IMAX, which is locked up by Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey through its exclusive run. Here’s why.
- Friday, July 31 — Wide opening: Brand New Day opens everywhere.
The on-sale follows through on the date Tom Holland himself confirmed in a video message, with the June 17 window arriving right on schedule.
Tickets Cap A Massive Week For The Movie
The ticket launch is the centerpiece of a stacked few days. Samsung just officially confirmed its partnership and brought Ned’s in-movie Spidey Tracker to life, Sony is holding its Global Fan Event in Amsterdam, and a new trailer is expected to debut alongside it all.
It all builds toward a movie Holland has called a detective-style mystery built around a villain even Spider-Man can’t see — the same hidden threat Sony’s official synopsis has been teasing.
