Spider-Man Comment Keeps Gaining Steam

Ramsey’s original remarks about possibly playing Spider-Man sparked a major backlash online, with fans split over whether the idea was serious or clearly tongue-in-cheek.

Despite the controversy, Ramsey’s latest response suggests that she is not walking anything back.

The comment comes amid ongoing speculation that Marvel Studios may be eyeing Ramsey for a future MCU role, with some rumors pointing toward the upcoming X-Men reboot rather than Spider-Man specifically.

Internet Reaction Still Divided

Online reactions remain polarized.

Critics continue to argue Spider-Man should remain Peter Parker, while supporters point to the multiverse and Spider-Verse concept, where variants already exist.

Others see Ramsey’s continued openness as simply leaning into the chaos the internet created.

Whether Marvel has any real plans remains unknown, but Ramsey clearly isn’t shutting the door.
