Ahead of the release of Venom 3, Sony made the smart move by releasing Venom 2 on Netflix where it’s cracked the streamer’s top ten charts.
After only one week on Netflix, Venom: Let There Be Carnage has shot up to #7 on Netflix’s Top 10 movie chart.
The info includes 7,800,000 hours viewed with 4,800,000 views.
Venom 2 has also made it into the Top 10 in 21 countries on Netflix including Argentina, Bahamas, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Jamaica, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama, Paraguay, Peru, Trinidad and Tobago, Uruguay, and Venezuela.
Topping the weekly chart for Oct 7 – Oct 13 includes The Menendez Brothers, The Predator, Lonely Planet, Bad Boys: Ride or Die, IT’S WHAT’S INSIDE, Sing, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, Monster High 2, Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves, and Rebel Ridge.
Venom: The Last Dance opens Oct. 26. Estimates are over the place and offer a potential franchise low or high.
