It just might be a love story after all, as Taylor Swift might actually be in Deadpool 3, with speculation and rumors offering the singer will be playing Dazzler.
Taylor Swift has been dating Travis Kelce, the star tight end of the Kansas City Chiefs, and she was spotted at a game in the same suite with Deadpool 3 director Shawn Levy, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman.
However, it is known that Levy worked with Swift on her All Too Well music video short film that he appeared in along with Sadie Sink, who stars in the Levy-produced Netflix series, Stranger Things, so it could be possible they were together at the game as friends.
However, The Wrap recently caught up with Taylor Swift and while offering an update on the Deadpool 3 release date (which is at risk), the site asked about rumors surrounding Taylor Swift, as the Swifties are enchanted with the motion of their favorite pop icon appearing in a Marvel movie.
What is interesting is that Shawn Levy didn’t shoot down the rumor but actually said fans are going to have to wait and see:
“They sure are loud,” Levy said of Swift fans clamoring for her to play the musical mutant. “I’m going across the board. ‘No comment’ because that’s a double whammy. That’s Taylor-related. And it’s MCU-related. I’m no dummy. You’re going to have to wait and see.”

In the comics, Dazzler is a mutant who has the ability to manipulate sound waves, so we see Taylor Swift would fit right in.
She also recently had her Eras Tour debut over the weekend which performed admirably at the box office.
Travis Kelce recently appeared on Saturday Night Live where Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance and introduced Ice Spice.

When does Deadpool 3 get released?
Deadpool 3 gets released on May 3, 2024, but again the release date may shift to do the ongoing actors strike.
Levy did confirm he has finished half of filming, but obviously if the strike doesn’t end soon, they might not be able to finish in time for that release date.
Also starring in Deadpool 3 includes Emma Corrin as the villain; Leslie Uggams is back as Blind Al; Morena Baccarin returns as Vanessa; Rob Delaney as Peter; Stefan Kapicic as Colossus; Karan Soni as Dopinder; Brianna Hildebrand as Negasonic Teenage Warhead, and Shioli Kutsuna as Yukio.
The plot is rumored to surround Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool travelling the Fox Marvel Multiverse which leads to encounters with Hugh Jackman as Wolverine and more Fox Marvel actors and characters, in addition to Variants of the characters, including Karl Urban as Wolverine.
It’s also said the flick directly connects to Avengers: Secret Wars which is also rumored to reboot the MCU with Young Avengers instead of a new MCU Trinity.
