The series stars Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian; Carl Weathers as Greef Karga; Gina Carano as Cara Dune; Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, with Nick Nolte voicing Kuiil, Taika Waititi voicing IG-11; Rio Hackford is the IG-11 Performance Artist, and Werner Herzog as The Client.
Synopsis:
Season 1: After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.
Season 2: The Mandalorian and the Child continue their journey, facing enemies and rallying allies as they make their way through a dangerous galaxy in the tumultuous era after the collapse of the Galactic Empire. Directors for the new season include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, Peyton Reed, and Robert Rodriguez. Showrunner Jon Favreau serves as executive producer along with Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy and Colin Wilson, with Karen Gilchrist serving as co-executive producer.
