Jason Momoa Teases Return To Game Of Thrones

Will Khal Drago be returning to Game Of Thrones?

Jason Momoa, the actor that played the role, may have teased a return to Game Of Thrones on Instagram.

Momoa posted two photos on Instagram while visiting Ireland and included “ALOHA DROGO.”

In addition, one of the photos features Jason Momoa with Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss leading to speculation of a Khal Drago return.

Last we saw of the Dothraki chieftain was in a vision scene during Game of Thrones Season 2. It’s possible Jason Momoa could be involved in a similar scene for Season 7 or just maybe he’ll return to life (Jon Snow came back).

Of course as Jason Momoa is filming Justice League in the UK, he could simply be visiting his old pals; Game of Thrones films in Northern Ireland.

Game Of Thrones Season 8 Will Be The Last

Winter is almost over.

HBO as announced there are only two more seasons of Game of Thrones, which will end with Season 8.

Game of Thrones Season 6 recently ended and went out with a literal bang.

On top of that, HBO also previously announced Game Of Thrones Season 7 will be delayed and won’t premier until Summer 2017 and will feature only seven episodes. Normally HBO debuts new seasons of Game of Thrones in April with ten episodes. The reason for the Season 7 delay is due to the filmmakers wanting the outdoor scenes to more closely resemble the arrival of winter in the series.

Regarding the end of the Game of Thrones series, HBO programming president Casey Bloys confirmed the news to EW.com.

“Yes, they have a very specific plan about the number of seasons they want to do,” Bloys said at the Television Critics Association’s press tour in Beverly Hills on Saturday. “Believe me, as the new [programming executive] coming in, if I could get them to do more. I would take 10 more seasons. But we take their lead on what they think they can do the best version of the show.”

It’s also possible that Game of Thrones Season 8 may have a shortened schedule as well, with eight episodes, though it’s noted the number of episodes is still being decided upon.

“Game Of Thrones” stars Kit Harington as Jon Snow, Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen, Lena Headey as Cersei Lannister, Peter Dinklage as Tyrion Lannister, Sophie Turner as Sansa Stark, Maisie Williams as Arya Stark and Nikolaj Coster-Waldau as Jaime Lannister.

Charles Dance Rumored For Justice League Villain Steppenwolf

With Justice League filming in Iceland and the cinematographer being the director of photography for Game Of Thrones, how about Charles Dance as the villain, Steppenwolf?

Charles Dance, known for playing Tywin Lannister in Game of Thrones, might be up for Justice League. The info comes from a Twitter account, so this could be another rumor to take with a grain of salt.

Charles Dance might not be a bad choice for one of Darkseid’s generals. If you saw the SyFy miniseries, Childhood’s End, Dance played the alien leader Karellen (see below), which came off rather well, I thought.

While Steppenwolf was cut from the Batman Vs. Superman theatrical version for some odd reason, the scene does make its way into the Ultimate Edition. Zack Snyder and WB also released the deleted scene following the debut of Batman Vs. Superman in theaters. The scene goes a long way to explain why Lex acts the way he does at the end of Batman Vs. Superman and also helps set up the Justice League movie. Watch it below.

“Justice League” has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe as an Atlantean.

Colin Farrell & Michiel Huisman Rumored For Justice League

It’s being said that both Colin Farell and Game Of Thrones‘ Michiel Huisman are up for Justice League.

The info comes from some Russian Twitter site, so obviously take this with a grain of salt.

The info might hold some truth as Colin Farrell was said to be rumored for Constantine in the Justice League Dark movie at one time, but the JLD DCEU movie doesn’t look to be happening as WB recently announced a Justice League Dark animated movie. Perhaps with the JLD movie not happening, it left Colin Farrell up for another role? Farrell also happens to be starring in WB’s Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.

Regarding Michiel Huisman, who plays Daario Naharis on Game of Thrones, it’s possible he could have a Justice League role as the JL cinematographer happens to be Fabian Wagner, who is the DP for Game of Thrones. There was also that Justice League concept art of Game of Thrones actor Kristofer Hivju, so it sounds that at least WB might have their eye on some of the GOT actors.

Any guesses as to who they could be playing?

“Justice League” has a November 17, 2017 release directed by Zack Snyder starring Ben Affleck as Batman, Henry Cavill as Superman, Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, Ezra Miller as The Flash, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, J.K. Simmons as Commissioner Gordon and Willem Dafoe in an unknown role.

Game of Thrones’ Kristofer Hivju Cast In Justice League

Update: Apparently there was some confusion, and Kristofer Hivju is not in Justice League. IGN has since corrected and redacted their original article after being contacted by WB, though apparently they were first told the concept art was of Hivju’s likeness.

With all the news surrounding Justice League today, now comes word of a cast addition with Game of Thrones‘ Kristofer Hivju added to the film.

Kristofer Hivju, known for playing the Wildling warrior Tormund Giantsbane in Game of Thrones, is said to be playing an ancient Atlantean King in Justice League.

According to IGN, they spotted Justice League concept art featuring Kristofer Hivju with the label of an ancient Atlantean king.

It’s speculated that Kristofer Hivju may be involved in a flashback scene involving a Mother Box.

It should also be noted that the cinematographer on Justice League, Fabian Wagner, is also the director of photography for episodes of Game of Thrones and was responsible for this past week’s epic episode, “Battle of the Bastards,” as well as this week’s season 6 finale.

Jason Momoa was also featured on Game Of Thrones as Drogo.

Synopsis:

Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman’s selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy.  Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat.  But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes—Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash—it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.

Watch: Game Of Thrones Red Woman Reveal (SPOILERS)

Spoilers follow for the Game Of Thrones Season 6 premiere.

Watch the big reveal at the end of tonight’s Game Of Thrones episode featuring Melisandre, aka the Red Woman, where we see she is actually an ancient and old woman.

In case you are wondering, that is the actual actress, Carice van Houten, playing the old woman using make-up and prosthetics. Update: Carice van Houten wore prosthetic makeup for her face and hair, while her body was performed by an older woman.

Apparently, Melisandre’s magic necklace is responsible for her youthful disguise as she takes it off for the first time and then turns into her older self.

“I was really happy when I read that we were going to reveal that this year,” Houten told EW. “I don’t think a lot of people will see that coming. It makes her immediately more vulnerable, but also more wise and even more mysterious. There’s also a vulnerability in her age.”

“That’s why she was able to say, ‘This is just a small war, it’s all relative compared to the big war were going to face,’” van Houten says. “[Her age] makes everything even more meta. Definitely, that’s where all that stuff comes from.”
