EW.com has released three pages from the Spider-Man: Brand New Day script, giving fans the first real look at where Tom Holland’s Peter Parker stands after the ending of Spider-Man: No Way Home.
The pages show Peter alone, still cut off from MJ, Ned, and the rest of the world after Doctor Strange’s spell made everyone forget who he is.
The opening also includes a new Marvel Studios logo tied to Peter’s lost memories, with the notes comparing it to Back to the Future as Peter Parker starts to vanish from the lives of the people he once loved.

Peter Parker Is Alone After No Way Home
The script picks up nine months after No Way Home, with Peter living by himself in the same apartment seen at the end of the last movie.
EW’s script pages reveal Peter at his desk, strapping a web-shooter to his wrist and loading cartridges into it. The notes make it clear this is not the tech-heavy Peter from the earlier MCU movies.
He is building his own gear, working with limited money, and doing it all without Tony Stark, Happy Hogan, May, Ned, or MJ.
Peter is also dealing with the cost of living alone. The script says he gets a “small, sharp headache,” with notes pointing out this is the first sign that his life in the shadows is starting to take a toll.

Peter Has An AI Assistant Named E.V.
One of the new reveals is that Peter has an AI assistant named E.V.
In the scene, Peter asks E.V. to check the calibration on his targeting matrix. The handwritten notes describe E.V. as “sadly, the closest thing Peter has to a friend.”
That lines up with the bigger emotional setup. Peter no longer has his old support system. His tech now has to be built by him, maintained by him, and apparently talked through with an AI he created himself.

Ned And MJ Still Matter
The pages also show Peter holding onto memories of Ned and MJ, even though they no longer remember him.
Peter sees Ned’s LEGO Emperor figurine on a dresser. He also gets a phone alert for “Flowers for May,” showing he is still honoring Aunt May after her death. He then finds the coffee cup MJ gave him, with the letter he never read to her tucked inside.
Peter’s voiceover reads like a confession he may never send.
He says he and MJ used to know each other. He says they were together. He also explains that something bad was going to happen, and the only way to stop it was to make everyone forget him.
The second page shows Peter watching a social media video from Ned at MIT. Ned is with MJ, and the two appear to be starting their new lives. Peter smiles for them, even though the script says he is miserable without them.

The Script Shows Spider-Man Back To Basics
The opening scene then moves high above New York City, where Spider-Man is sitting on a steel beam.
The pages show Peter accepting that he is not “just Peter Parker.” He is Spider-Man. The notes suggest a shot where he is upside down above Manhattan, putting the focus back on the classic Spider-Man image.
Peter considers that maybe he will never read the letter to MJ. Maybe he is only writing it for himself. He says he loves her and hopes that somewhere deep down, something inside her remembers she loves him too.
Then the police scanner goes off. Trouble calls. Peter pulls down the mask and swings away.
It’s a very direct setup: Peter Parker’s personal life is broken, but Spider-Man still answers the call.

New Spider-Man Suit Revealed
The script pages also include notes about Peter’s new suit.
The handwritten comments say the suit is made by Peter and inspired by his encounter with Tobey Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men in No Way Home. The note also calls for real fabric, seams, and wrinkles.
That suggests Brand New Day is leaning into a more handmade Spider-Man look, moving away from the Stark tech suits and back toward a street-level Peter who has to build everything himself.

Updated Marvel Studios Logo Released
EW also released a new image of the Marvel Studios logo.
The logo appears with a red background and metallic lettering, but the big point is how the script uses the opening Marvel flip card sequence. The notes say the opening should show memories Peter no longer shares with Ned, MJ, and Aunt May.
That gives the Marvel Studios logo a story purpose. Instead of a normal opening, the sequence appears to reflect the erased memories and Peter’s lonely new status quo after No Way Home.
