A newly leaked description of the second Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer may offer the biggest look yet at Sadie Sink’s rumored Jean Grey, and if accurate, she isn’t being treated like a background cameo.
Note: Spoilers follow.
The leak doesn’t mention Sink by name, but it does describe a Jean Grey-like character who appears to be driving several of the trailer’s biggest moments, including Peter Parker losing control, MJ being threatened, and Hulk going on a rampage.
As always with these kinds of leaks, take everything with a grain of salt until Sony and Marvel release the official trailer. The new Spider-Man: Brand New Day trailer is rumored to drop June 17.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Leak Teases Sadie Sink’s Rumored Jean Grey
According to the leaked description, Jean Grey is shown with a darkened face, described as similar to the Void from Thunderbolts.
She is said to be jumping from mind to mind while hunting for Spider-Man, with one early sequence implying Peter is fleeing from her when he loses control mid-swing and crashes into a wedding.
That would immediately put the rumored Jean Grey role at the center of the action, rather than having the character appear for a quick cameo or post-credit tease.

Jean Grey Reportedly Threatens MJ In The Trailer
The description gets more aggressive from there.
A web explosion reportedly knocks Spider-Man to the ground, after which Jean asks if he is okay. The moment then takes a turn, with Jean said to threaten MJ.
Peter reportedly responds by telling her she won’t get away with it.
If the description is accurate, that gives Peter a direct personal reason to go after Jean, especially with MJ being dragged into the danger after forgetting who Peter Parker is at the end of Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Jean Grey May Be The Reason Hulk Attacks Spider-Man
The standout beat involves Hulk, as previous rumors have said Jean Grey is responsible for unleashing the Hulk.
The leak claims Jean somehow forces the Grey Hulk to transform, most likely through mind control. Hulk then grows giant, terrifies Peter with his size, and chases him down a hallway before unleashing a thunderclap that sends Spider-Man flying.
If true, that could mean Hulk isn’t simply attacking Spider-Man on his own. He may be another victim of Jean’s powers.
That also reframes the trailer’s biggest action beats. Jean would be the reason Peter is running, the threat to MJ, and the trigger for Hulk’s rampage.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day Leak Still Unconfirmed
Again, this is still an unverified fan description of a single viewing, so details could be wrong or misread. That is especially true with specifics like Jean’s powers, the mind-control angle, and whether the character is actually Jean Grey.
Still, the description lines up with the earlier Sadie Sink Jean Grey casting rumor and gives that thread its first real trailer context.
