Hasbro has revealed the first Hulk Marvel Legends figure for Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and the character description adds a new tease about how Bruce Banner’s green alter ego fits into the movie.
The listing makes it sound like Peter Parker runs into Hulk after a long time apart, but things may not go smoothly.
Hasbro teases Hulk return in Spider-Man: Brand New Day
The Hulk figure reveal comes with a short description that raises the big question: “Spider-Man is surprised to see the Hulk again after so much time has passed, and has no idea if Hulk will remember him. Will Hulk be a friend or foe?”
It suggests Spider-Man and Hulk already have some kind of history in the MCU, but Peter doesn’t know what kind of Hulk he is dealing with this time.
We also see it ties into what happened at the end of No Way Home, where Doctor Strange cast the spell where everyone forgets Peter. However, does that apply to the Hulk (who also happens to be able to see Strange in his astral form)?
The Hulk and Spider-Man connection also lines up with the recent rumor that Sadie Sink’s character may somehow unleash the Savage Hulk out of Banner.
If true, Spider-Man: Brand New Day could feature a much more dangerous version of Hulk than fans have seen in recent Marvel movies.

Hasbro’s Marvel Legends Series Hulk is priced at $46.99.

The packaging and promo shots show Hulk tangled up in Spider-Man’s webs, which could be another hint that the two clash at some point in the movie.
Spider-Man figure also revealed
Hasbro also revealed the Marvel Legends Spider-Man figure from Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
The Spider-Man description says: “Spider-Man is back in action keeping New York City safe. An anonymous hero and brilliant scientist, Peter Parker creates cutting-edge technology and builds his own suit.”
That figure is priced at $27.99.

The figure design appears to match the suit seen in the recent trailer footage.
Hulk could be more than a cameo
If Hasbro’s description is anything to go by, Hulk may have a much bigger part in Spider-Man: Brand New Day than just a quick appearance.
Marvel product descriptions have a habit of teasing basic plot points without giving away the whole story, and this one flat-out asks whether Hulk is a friend or foe. That sounds like Spider-Man and Hulk will have at least one major encounter, and probably a fight.
