Spawn Revealed In Ready Player One

Spawn was in Ready Player One!

That’s one I need to add to the Ready Player One Easter Egg list!

Todd McFarlane posted a high-res image from Ready Player One of his Spawn on the big screen, which also features Blue Beetle, Aquaman, Batgirl, He-Man, Joker, a Gremlin, I think that might be Nightwing, and I’m not sure who that is in between Batgirl and Spawn, or who is at the end. Any ideas?

“I don’t know about you… but it’s getting me even more excited for the new Spawn Movie!!!” Todd McFarlane posted on Facebook.

The new Spawn movie is presently in development being written and directed by McFarlane and will be R-rated with Blumhouse Productions attached.

“It will be dark and heavy, serious, R-rated. It won’t be a superhero movie,” McFarlane previously said and compared the Spawn movie to Jaws. “I don’t think most people would categorize it as that. It will be a supernatural thriller, like a lot of good creep movies. The only thing in the movie that’s fantastic is Spawn, and anything else is otherwise normal.”
