Ben Affleck is excited about the release of the Snyder Cut on HBO Max and thanks fans in the following video that was released during Kevin Smith’s Fatman Beyond podcast.
Wednesday saw Zack Snyder hold a Man of Steel Watch Party where he confirmed the release of the Snyder Cut, which was followed up by the official HBO Max announcement.
Ben Affleck, Snyder’s choice to play Batman in Batman vs Superman and Justice League, as well as a cameo in Suicide Squad, released the following video on Smith’s podcast.
“Hey, I just want to say that sorry I couldn’t make it on there live, but I am very excited that Zack is getting a chance to finally see his vision realized,” said Affleck. “I think it’s a great thing. I’m really excited for the fans to get to see it. I want to say thank you to the fans because it was their enthusiasm, it was their passion that made it happen. Without fan support, I don’t think it would have ever happened. I love Zack. I love his version of the movie, and I look forward to everyone getting a chance to see it. What up, [Kevin] Smith? I’m a fan, what can I say.”
