Silver Surfer and Beta Ray Bill, two fan-favorite cosmic characters, may be working their way into Thor 4, according to rumors.
The Lords of the Long Box Twitter account tweeted out that they heard the two characters, who Marvel Comics recently published as part of the Annihilation Scourge storyline, will be in Thor: Love and Thunder.
"Inside source has told us that Silver Surfer & Beta Ray Bill are planned for Thor: Love and Thunder," the Twitter account claims. "Great if you own Silver Surfer 4! This book has blown up ever since Disney got the rights back from FOX! I don't give a sh-t what actor plays either them, they'll both be CGI."
Silver Surfer, Beta Ray in Thor 4 played by Christian Bale, Keanu Reeves?
Regarding who could be playing the characters in the MCU, most recently saw it claimed that former Batman actor Christian Bale may suit up in mo-cap to play Beta Ray Bill in Thor 4 or possibly as The Minotaur; it's said that Christian Bale is currently in talks with Marvel for Love and Thunder.
Regarding the MCU version of the Silver Surfer, Marvel's Sentinel of the Spaceways and herald of Galactus, previous rumors have offered up that none other than Keanu Reeves is being considered to play the part.
It's actually been claimed that Keanu Reeves was wanted to play the part of Yon-Rogg in Captain Marvel, but that Reeves couldn't do the role due to a scheduling conflict with John Wick 3.
Keanu Reeves has voiced his support for playing Wolverine in the MCU, with additional rumors offering up that his people want him to play Moon Knight for the Disney Plus series. It's also claimed that DC and Marvel are playing tug of war with the actor as DC may want Reeves back as Constantine.
Back in June of last year saw Kevin Feige confirm he wants Keanu Reeves in the MCU as well.
Thor: Love and Thunder has a November 5, 2021 release directed by Taiki Waititi starring Chris Hemsworth, Natalie Portman as Female Thor, Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie, with Korg returning as well. Chris Pratt may also appear as Star-Lord from the Guardians of the Galaxy flicks.
