Scooper Daniel Richtman is now reporting that “Ana de Armas is being eyed for a big Marvel role.”
While there’s no word yet on the exact character, there are a few possibilities we can think of based on recent Marvel rumors and upcoming projects.
Possible Roles for Ana de Armas
One option could be the Female Ghost Rider, something that has been rumored in the past as a direction Kevin Feige might explore. Feige went with the Female Silver Surfer in Fantastic Four. It’s also been his post-Endgame approach. Ghost Rider has been rumored for Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars.
Another possibility is the new Black Widow in the aftermath of the Avengers: Secret Wars reboot. De Armas recently played a deadly female assassin in the John Wick spinoff Ballerina, so the role would fit her action background.
With Thor 5 said to be in development, she could also take on Enchantress, a long-requested Marvel villain and fan favorite from the comics.
Other potential characters could include one of X-Men characters (fans have thrown out Mystique), though Feige recently said he is going younger (Ana de Armas is 37).

De Armas, who has been nominated for an Academy Award and starred in major franchises like James Bond, could be a prime candidate to headline an MCU film or series.
