Landman is adding some serious weight for season two. Paramount+ confirmed Sam Elliott will join the cast as a series regular, reuniting with Taylor Sheridan after their work on 1883.
Elliott brings decades of screen experience, including A Star Is Born, The Big Lebowski, and Tombstone, plus a Critics Choice-winning turn on Justified.

Landman already stars Billy Bob Thornton, Demi Moore, and Andy Garcia—all Oscar-nominated or winning veterans.
Season two adds Elliott to that lineup, alongside Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore.

Filming for season two is now in progress in Texas. The series is co-created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace and based on the Boomtown podcast from Imperative Entertainment and Texas Monthly.
