Landman Season 2 Starts Production in Texas

Production has started on season two of Landman, the Paramount+ drama starring Billy Bob Thornton. The series, created by Taylor Sheridan and Christian Wallace, quickly became one of the platform’s biggest hits. Landman focuses on oil boomtowns in West Texas and the people chasing profit on the rigs.

Billy Bob Thornton and Demi Moore Lead the Cast

Season two features the return of Billy Bob Thornton, who received a Golden Globe nomination for his role as Tommy Norris. Demi Moore also returns, alongside Andy Garcia, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, Michelle Randolph, Paulina Chávez, Kayla Wallace, Mark Collie, James Jordan, and Colm Feore.

Landman is produced by MTV Entertainment Studios, 101 Studios, and Bosque Ranch Productions. It adds to Taylor Sheridan’s growing slate for Paramount+, which includes 1923, 1883, Lioness, Mayor of Kingstown, Tulsa King, and Lawmen: Bass Reeves.
