Priyanka Chopra Jonas will be entering The Matrix 4 as the actress is in final talks for the movie in an unknown role.
Chopra Jonas, the wife of Nick Jonas, is known for the Quantico TV series and has also been cast in the upcoming Cowboy Ninja Viking movie starring Chris Pratt.
The Indian-born actress joins Keanu Reeves, Carrie-Anne Moss, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II and Neil Patrick Harris.
Variety also reports filming is to begin soon and that the cast has been training for months for the action and fight scenes.
Recently saw it revealed that Hugo Weaving will not be back as Agent Smith.

The Matrix 4 has a May 21, 2021 release date directed and produced by Lana Wachowski who also co-wrote the screenplay with Aleksandar Hemon and David Mitchell; Grant Hill also returns as producer, who executive produced Matrix Reloaded and Matrix Revolutions.
In addition to Keanu Reeves returning as Neo with Carrie-Anne Moss as Trinity, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II is rumored to be playing a young Morpheus, and Jessica Henwick is said to be playing a female-like Neo character at the forefront of the movie, with Jonathan Groff, star of Netflix’s Mindhunter, and Toby Onwumere, known for the Wachowski’s Sense8, also joining the film.
Warner Bros. describes the film as an “all-new film, returning audiences to the reality-bending universe.”
