Marvel released the new Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania trailer during Monday’s College Football Playoff National Championship game.
Watch below.
“Witness the beginning of a new dynasty,” teases the description.
In the film, Super-Hero partners Scott Lang (Paul Rudd) and Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly) return to continue their adventures as Ant-Man and the Wasp. Together, with Hope’s parents Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) and Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer), the family finds themselves exploring the Quantum Realm, interacting with strange new creatures and embarking on an adventure that will push them beyond the limits of what they thought was possible. Jonathan Majors joins the adventure as Kang.
Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania also happens to kick off MCU Phase 5 and gets released on February 17, 2023, directed by Peyton Reed and also stars David Dastmalchian as Veb, Katy O’Brian as Jentorra, William Jackson Harper as Quaz and Bill Murray as Lord Krylar.
The runtime is said to be 125 minutes, or two hours and five minutes, in length, with fits with the two previous flicks that come in at 117 minutes and 118 minutes, respectively.
New posters have also been released.
An official description for the movie also says Jonathan Major’s Kang the Conqueror is the MCU’s most powerful villain to date, and a producer on the film says the movie has a storyline that will have a significant impact on the future of the MCU with comparisons to Captain America: The Winter Soldier and Captain America: Civil War.
MCU fans are also really happy with what they are seeing with the trailer especially compared to what Marvel released in Phase 4.
